“Outstanding Hotel!!!! Spacious Suites with Stunning Ocean Views!!!”

Flagship Resort

This is an excellent, romantic hotel. The rooms are HUGE and all have amazing balconies with stunning ocean views right on the boardwalk. They also have full kitchens. Set slightly apart from the other boardwalk casinos/hotels it is a nice short walk or jitney ride to shopping and other attractions on the main strip. Just 2 blocks from a small grocery if you want to get snacks for the room or want to cook, the kitchen is completely stocked with dishware, silverware, pots, pans, etc.

The restaraunt food is pretty average but the view from the restaraunt (located on the 7th floor) has an astounding panoramic view of the ocean...

The breakfast buffet ($9) was excellent and had many options, eggs/omlettes, etc. very tasty.

We stayed in 2215 - amazing view with long balcony that streched the entire length of the suite that we could enter from either the bedroom or living room.
Each room also has 2 large bathrooms!

We aren't gamblers, just wanted to get away from NYC for a romantic relaxing weekend. We had a fantastic stay at Flagship Fanta-Sea Resort!!! and hope to return during warmer weather

“Great price for a great location!”

We stayed there for one night and I had to say that it was a great experience. I booked the hotel through their website and I was surprised at how affordable it was considering that I booked it two days before our arrival and it was during a holiday weekend. I've been reading the reviews but I thought that I would see it for myself. First of all, they greet you with such friendliness as soon as you walk through the door. They were happy to give me what I asked for as far as having a suite with the balcony facing the water. When we got in our suite, we were just in awe at how beautiful it was. We stayed on the 17th Floor. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. They have an arcade but we only stayed for about half an hour to play billiards. The arcade is more suited for kids. We went to the pool area and I immediately got in the hot tub, which was great. Our reservation included a free breakfast. The food was great even though they didn't have a big variety. Although they have an omelet station where they make omelets or eggs however you like it. Overall, their food was great.
The one complaint I have was that the pool was kind of small. My husband complained about it being too shallow and short that he couldn't really swim the way he wanted to. But if you have kids, this is a great place for them to hang out. The other, and biggest, complaint I have are the elevators. The hotel has 32 floors and they only have 4 elevators. At times, we waited like 20 minutes to get on an elevator. Overall, I think the place was great! Although you may have to sit in for their timeshare seminar but it was so worth it to get $100 off your stay. For those who complain about them "pushing up" their timeshare on you, all you have to say is NO (unless you're really interested) so I don't understand why complain about it. It is a timeshare resort and it is natural for them to do some type of marketing.

“Loved It!”

Flagship Resort

My mom owns a Fairfield timeshare, so my husband and I used it for a weekend in Atlantic City, without the kids. The resort was brand new at the time, so we were trying it out. We arrived to valet parking and an easy check-in. We had a one-bedroom suite on the 30th floor which gave us an excellent view of the city. The room was spotless; the bedroom had a hot tub, separate from the bathroom. The adorable little kitchen had full-sized appliances (stove, refridgerator, microwave, dishwasher) and cabinets, complete with dishes and silverware. The living area was fully furnished, including a nice TV. The room was very nice. The location of the building seemed a tiny bit out of the way, however, in my opinion, it was still in walking distance of everything. The shopping outlets were in long-walking distance, but since I'm a heavy shopper, I had no choice but to get the car out of valet. And speaking of the outlets, all of the popular stores were there. As far as dining, there was an IHOP, an Applebee's, the 40/40 Club, Planet Hollywood, and other decent places to eat. There were also local bars here and there, not to mention the casinos. The only downside, I guess, is that since we were there as guests of the timeshare owner (my mom), we had to sit through the "meeting" with a broker. We had no intention of buying a timeshare, which is why I call it a downside.. But I did appreciate the tour of the building, at which time we were allowed to see the 4-suite penthouse and other great things that the resort had to offer. We both also got $50 casino vouchers.. We're not gamblers, but we did play the vouchers and we each won $50 in cash.. lol! All of this to say, staying at the Flagship in Atlantic City was an overall pleasant experience.

After arriving things seemed very nice. Check in was easy, and parking was fine. We stayed in a room with another couple each of us in a queen bed. One of the first things were the pillows. We each had one pillow but they were very flat. We called the front desk and housekeeping stated we should only have one each. We proceeded to explain the pillows were very flat and they said fine I can give you three and thats it. So one of us didnt get a normal pillow. The extra three pillows they brought us were all clumped up meaning the cotton was in the middle of the pillow case and it was a big round ball. How can you sleep on that! There were cracks in the ceiling, Sounded like wateer running behind the shower wall all the time. We tried to ask the front desk for general information and transfered us to a voice mail to the conceirge several times. That wasnt helpful. We finally ended up calling another hotel and had our questions answered immediatly. While reading about the hotel policy, it states if you stay weekly, your room is cleaned only once a week! That is pretty nasty. The Ozone had decent food just dirty dinnerware. I sent plates back due to obvious grunge on them. I had a coffe and at the end of my coffee I believe I had a grain of rice in my mouth. Finally we went to the bar to bring a two six packs of beer to our room and the bar tender wasnt paying attention to what I was saying because he was so busy. He was doing it all!

“A Few Problems”

Hotel was not terrable - but we had a few problems with our visit. The fire detector in our room had dying batteries and was beeping all night. Hotel staff did nothing about it. The room was fairly clean (considering price and location) but the bed was rock hard and and very uncomfortable. For a 1 bedroom suite I paid $130 on a friday night which is decent for Atlantic City - was an OK place to leave our bags and crash at the end of the night. I would not stay here again ...
