Honestly if you want a newer updated place to stay this is not the place for you.The carpet showed signs of wear, and the door was old with out a peak hole(there was a window you could see from)
For me and my g/f it was perfect. The bed was clean as well as the bathroom. We were able to get a room with a fridge(we ask when making reservations...not all rooms have them). The location was great for walking to the Casinos and around town.There were food places with in walking distance as well as a beer carry out store.
We did see prostitutes acrossed the street at other motels, never any by our hotel.
Also the motel has limited parking. We never moved our car once we got there.
I dont suggest this motel for those staying with children, the room is small and the walls are thin.
We plan to stay there again, it was a great find.

My wife and I satyed at the El Greco Motel on the first weekend of the month of September. It was a fine motel with friendly staff. It was not the newest motel but was clean and seconds from the boardwalk. I felt safe in the ample spacious room and was comfortable. Really used it as a place to sleep that was safe and clean.Already have plans to go back next year. Hope this is helpful to someone.

My husband and I just stayed there and the place is old and it is a motel....but it is in a great location and we could walk out the door and look right at the ocean and right beside it is the Hilton..so if you want to spend a small fortune stay at the Hilton. We were on the 4th floor and the room was clean and the staff was friendly!!! We will be staying there again!!! We don't spend a great deal of time in a room so as long as we had a clean shower and bed....that was all we cared about!!!!!

Yesterday I booked a room with your service for my fiancé and I to stay over night at the "El Greco Motel" in Atlantic City.
We checked-in around 10:00pm at the motel. The front desk gave us room #409 on the 4th floor. When we open the door the room reeked of urine. We turned on the A/C to air out the room and went to the hotels for some gambling. We got back to the room at 4:00AM just to find that the urine smell was not gone. I went down stairs to complain to the front desk and the person at the desk told me that it didn’t smell like urine. I said “come up to the room and see for yourself. He refused to check out the smell. I returned to the room and told my fiancé what happened. She told me don’t worry and get ready for bed. When I pulled the bed covers down the sides of the mattress hade blood stains all over them. We got our stuff together and returned the key to the front desk and left for our 2 ½ hour drive back to NYC. That motel was the most discussing place I have ever stayed. Monday morning I’m contacting the health dept. and reporting them. It’s a shame that you have such a place listed in your site. I’m also contacting American Express to stop payment to the El Greco Motel and contact the local news. If you can help me in any while to correct this problem, please do so.
