I stayed at this hotel last year and can't wait to go back next month. I didn't notice any of the problems others have posted on here. My 1 bedroom suite was clean, neatly appointed and had a great view. The elevators were never a problem. The staff was friendly and I loved the location. Would highly recommend this property to everyone.

We stayed here for the first time. Front desk clerk very pleasant. Originally booked for 3 people, but plans changed and there were 4 adults. The desk clerk said the room booked would not be adequate for 4 and upgraded us to a time share room at no additional charge. All employees friendly and helpful. Super room. Plenty of room for 4 adults. We loved the location. Located right on the boardwalk in a central location. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend the Atlantic Palace.

“What's up with the shower?”

Royal Suites at Atlantic Palace

Is it just me or is the shower window that overlooks the bed quite disturbing? I stayed at the Atlantic Palace with friends, but it was so inappropriate to have a huge window in the shower! Everyone in the room could basically see you bathe. The blinds meant to conceal the window were missing as well. The location of the hotel is great, but the hotel itself--not so much.

“Great Hotel for the price, can't beat the location”

Royal Suites at Atlantic Palace

We were going to AC in February. We wanted a decent hotel but didn't want to pay $300/night at the casinos. A relative suggested the Atlantic Palace Suites. I'm glad they did.
We had a penthouse room (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, LR, Kit and eating area) all for $189/night. If it wasn't a holiday weekend it would have been cheaper. There single room is $79 normally. The check in process is a little cumbersome. You have to get your parking pass 1st, park and then check in. Hint: if you have a lot of bags, have the bellboy take your luggage instead of carrying it down the stairs of the parking garage (no elevator). The hallway elevators are a little slow but no big deal. The hotel is clean. Every room has one jacuzzi tub, REALLY HOT WATER in the showers. Don't be concerned with the shower head - it looks like it's missing but it actually is a nice shower. We had the best view of the ocean and the hotel is right on the boardwalk.
The hotel is smack dab in the middle of everything. Within walking distance to Ceaser's, Ballys, Trump Taj Majal etc.
There is also a nice place to eat next door called Chelsea Cafe - Good breakfast..
I would definitely stay here again. Why pay the extra $$ to stay at a casino.

“Definitely some issues, but not bad for price...”

Royal Suites at Atlantic Palace

We chose this hotel because the price was right for a hotel right on the boardwalk. We had small children with us so we didn't care about the lack of a casino. The elevators are definitely an issue. There are not nearly enough and you could wait a lifetime for an one. Our room was a good size, was clean, and had an unbelievable view of the ocean. The room had out-dated decor, but the view made you forget about it. The hotel has an almost undetectable entrance on the boardwalk which is convenient. Another oddity that was cause for alarm was that the trash from the rooms was stored in a closet in the hallway that smelled absolutely disgusting everytime we walked by. There were some additional charges as well, like for parking. Overall, it worked out well for us because we were only staying for one night.
