This was a great value because we had a ocean view room with a balcony for $75 a night. The location was convenient and the place was very clean!

I booked 2 rooms at the Days Inn Boardwalk at Morris Ave. in Atlantic City the first weekend of November. I was very impressed with the lobby and the fact that our rooms were ready for check-in at 1:00PM! That never happened to me before. The first thing I remember when getting off the elevator on the third floor was the smell of cleansliness. There was no smell of mildew or stale air anywhere. Room was pretty spacious. Very impressed with the rug - clean and thick. Balcony with side view of ocean was great - although I wish it were closer to the ocean and higher up so I could see the people walking on the boardwalk. Loved the fact that I could go outside anytime of day or night to check the weather! Bathroom was a little small - no big deal. A little noisy - even on the other side of the Tropicana (I specifically asked for this due to the noise in the alley near the Trop). We heard banging during the night - two loud thumps that scared me. My sister, in the room adjacent to us, heard similar noises thoughout the night. The walls are very thin. She heard my friend say something loud and clear though the wall in the bathroom! Country Kitchen very expensive - my sister paid $25 for two breakfasts! Good for one or two nights, but definitely not worth the price we paid. They should have at least thrown in breakfast!

Hotel is located on Morris Avenue at the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, on the south side of the Tropicana Casino and Hotel. It is a terrific location for beach-goers; right on the water, only steps from the famous Boardwalk and the ocean surf. Room was of smaller size (16' x 14'), and was clean. Bathroom toiletries were very well supplied. Air conditioner worked well, fan in the bathroom did not. Price was a great value for the location; we paid $61 for a Thursday night, and $91 for a Friday night (both without tax) during off-season October 2007 while attending a professional seminar. Avoid the hotel restaurant, Country Kitchen; it was over-priced and of poor quality. Staff was pleasant and helpful in responding to inquiries. Use extreme caution when logging on to hotel's free high-speed wireless Internet service; it was infected with a home page Trojan during our visit.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in early October. We normally stay at one of the "Casino" hotels, but the exorbitant weekend AC prices led us to the Days Inn. As one of the previous reviewers mentioned, it's not a four star resort. One thing to note - On our arrival - We learned that the hotel keeps your car keys during your stay. Check-in was very easy. We were on the 3rd Floor and the elevator is definitely slow. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is within steps of the Tropicana on one side and about two blocks from the Hilton on the other side.

One thing, especially for the light sleepers.... One side of the hotel partially faces the loading dock area of the Tropicana. We found that it can be quite loud in the AM (5-7 am) with trash trucks, food trucks, etc. If we stay again, and I'm sure we will, we will try to request the oceanfront rooms or the rooms on the Hilton side of the hotel. Apart from this it is a surprisingly nice property at a really good location and price point.
