Me and my Girlfriend stayed in the Saint George for 2 weeks, and what a brill time we had. Before I tell you about our experiences with the hotel, let me give you a word of warning. If your due to fly with a airline called Coral Blue I strongly advise to try and change your flight's. I've never been in such a dirty, smelly disgusting cramped aircraft in my life. There was no entertainment, no Alcohol, no Duty frees, no nothing We received 2 plastic cups of lemonade for the whole flight, and as for the in-flight meals? We paid £12 each for them when we booked or holiday. They weren’t worth 12p! And to top it off, the woman sat next to me never even payed and she received one.
But anyway, the flight is nothing to do with Saint George so where shall I begin? Well, we arrived at the hotel at around midnight there time. We were both starving as neither of us ate on the plain. So it was a very pleasant surprise when we got to our room (3014) to find 2 plate's of foot waiting for us. It was nowt special, just some cheeses, some chicken, some bread roll's and a bottle of water. Let me tell you, it was a welcome site and went down well. :o)
The Hotel is very nice, clean, well looked after and the staff.... Well, they just simply can’t do enough for you! The Guest Relation's Manager Michael...I can’t rate him highly enough. He is one of the nicest men I have ever met. He always has a smile on his face, he'll come and sit and have a chat to you and is superbly brilliant at his job. He makes you feel so welcome! Then there is the little mar man called Fadi....He's about4 foot nothing and his waist is as thick as my wrist! But he's so funny...You'll be sat in the bar having a drink and he'll walk past and say "all right love"....He'll say it to the men as well......Another top bloke. To be fair, all the staff are great but I can’t mention them all.
As for the food, well it's ok. It's not the best by far. but all in all not bad. The restaurant on top of the roof is much better, however, you do have to pay for that. I can recommend the Tomato soup! :-) The private Hotel beach aint all that great to be fair. you should check it out for your self's, but the sand is more like gravel than anything else! :o(
One more word of advice. We went in the peak of their summer, and let me tell you it was HOT............It measured over 60 degrees in the sun and over 40 in the shade. Prepare your self’s because I have never experienced heat like it. Thing's you must do........Take a trip to Namma bay in the evening's Go on the sunset boat trip. go to one of the Bedwin night's.
One last thing, there is a Diamond ring in the jewellery shop. It's around £6000 sterling. Will someone please buy it before my Mrs makes me to buy it for her..... :o(
