Last year in September two of us stayed in St.George Three Corners Hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh,Egypt. All inclusive.
What can we say?
The hotel is quite nice, very friendly staff (we knew every person by name) and spoke quite good English.
Reception was very helpful and friendly.
Room was very spacious and it features a quite big bed, sofa bed with a small coffee table and desk with TV. It had a guest directory,SPA brochure with prices. Room service was really fast and not so expensive as all inclusive doesn't include room service. Odd!
As I work in the hotel myself so of course, first thing for me it was to check how clean this room is. Of course, not 100% cleanliness however it was really good just mirrors needed to be cleaned better.
Staff changed our linen every day and we were very happy about it and they even did swans and hearts from towels for us. It was very beautiful. Room had very spacious balcony with chairs and table.
Just view from the room wasn't so nice however it was fine for us.
Restaurant was very nice and clean. Food: they had some choice however it was repeated in few days again so after 14 days there we were happy to go home. Overall food was fine not so bad.
Alcohol: we had a choice of cocktails and it was quite nice and if you ask to make it stronger they kindly do that.
Entertainment: Animation team was very friendly and 8/10 good.
Unfortunately they had only 4-5 people in it however they did their best to entertain. We played football and table tennis.
Swimming pool: water was very clean and around the pool was very tidy.
Beach: it was too far from the hotel and you needed to take tickets at Reception for the bus. However it was free of charge and the beach bar was very nice as well.
The air conditioners were very good with in the hotel it was fresh and nice.
Bars were open until late.
So if you haven't been in Sharm El Sheikh you can try this hotel.

Three Corners Saint George

After spending a week at the Three Corners St George I have decided not to go back to Sharm. This was my 7th visit.

The “chavness” of the St George now reflects the type of person going to Sharm. Egyptian Benidorm!

The Egyptians are such lovely people but alas the market the 3* and 4* are now affordable to the masses of English.

Let’s start with the hotel.
The rooms, clean and comfortable. Bit dated by the décor, you could do with sunglasses when you first see the bedspreads.
We had read of trip advisor how good the management are at looking after you. After arriving at 2 am and finding out the following morning that we over looked the main dual carriageway we asked for a move and was flatly turned down.

The restaurants.
The main restaurant reminds me of a school dining hall. The lighting is far too harsh and bright. It takes all of the atmosphere away. On roast night we asked for some turkey and felt like Oliver asking for more. I got 2 bits the size of a 50p coin.
People were complaining that there was no bacon. It’s a Muslim country, they don’t eat pork. Learn a bit about the culture, may make you appreciate their way of life.
Oh and no chips at night. Try local foods. The Egyptian dishes are superb. I know its difficult feeding for the masses but there is no excuse for ignorance. If you want bacon go to Benidorm or Skegness.

The beach restaurant is ok. If you don’t manage to get a table as soon as it starts serving forget any choice. My favourite must be the liver and spaghetti pie…yes pasta mixed with chopped liver and topped with pastry.
The al-la-carte restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is superb. It’s such a pity that the food can’t be that nice in the main restaurant. The only downside is that you can hear the whirring of the sewage works next door. Its really evident at night, at least there was no smell!
Breakfast was fine. Freshly cooked eggs and omelettes. Lacking in fresh fruit most of the time.

The pools
If you don’t manage to get a sun bed before 8am go to the beach. Packed in like sardines. That’s why we went to the beach. The St George runs a shuttle service every half hour. The bus only holds 16 for a 200 roomed hotel. You do the maths.
The Kiroseiz Beach (£4) for St George guests. Is nice. A tiny bit of beach, all the rest of the beds are on a terrace. The restaurant there is much nicer. Foods much better too.
It’s an open air restaurant but has a curtain screen and ceiling fans which make it pleasant.

Location
Far out of Naama bay, on a dual carriage way by the side of the sewage works.

My husband and I have returned from a 10 day break at this hotel. Unfortunaltey I experienced a very bad case of acute gastroenteritis and spent the last 5 days in the hotel room. The food is very bland and does not look very appetising. There were a lot of people at the time of our stay who were suffering from the same problem!

There are a lot of mostiqitos, this may have some thing to do with a sewage plant being very close by!

I cannot really comment much further as I did not get to see much as most of this trip was spent in the hotel room!

Personally, we would not return to this hotel.

it was our first time in egypt and although i would not recomend going in july again because of the extreme heat, we would recomend this hotel to everyone. from the moment you arrive you are welcomed, nothing is too much trouble for michael and his team, and the cleanliness is second to none throughout the hotel, hence none of our party of four suffered from any kind of tummy upset. the entertainment is the usual package holiday kind of thing but the difference being its your choice to participate, you are not forced to do anything you dont want to.
the restaurant food was good, although a little repetetive at times but 14 days is a long time to keep people happy.
we'd recommend the snorkelling at the sister hotel, breathtaking is the best word to describe it. the quads and the bedouin night are also must do's.
first time have known the exchange rate to be better at the hotel, i got 9.5egyptian to the pound just before we flew out and when i exchanged more sterling at the hotel they gave me 10.5.
will definetly book again but at a later time of year.

we have recently returned from this hotel, and are missing it terribly already. The hotel was the cleanest ive ever stayed in, and the hotel staff couldnt do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I found the food to be varied, and even my fussy 8 year old found something to eat!!
The animations team did their best to get everyone involved in activities, but didnt force you if you really didnt want to. I know that there has previously been some moans on this sight and others about the entertainment available, but they do have a hard job finding evening entertainment that will suit adults and children alike, and they put 100% effort into everything they do. The hotel also had fox movies in the rooms amongst other english speaking channels if you just fancied a relaxing night in the room.
The hotel beach was nice, but you really had to buy footwear as there were a lot of rocks in the water making it hard to walk, the sister hotels beach could also be reached by a courtesy shuttle bus from the hotel, and although there wasnt a lot of beach there, theres a floating jetty which takes out to the edge of the coral reef where you can snorkel and see some wonderful sealife. Loved this hotel, and cant thank the people who work there enough for making our family holiday a memorable one
