The Ginger Hotel belongs to a hotel chain of the Tata Group providing affordable accommodation trying to overcome the price madness of the larger hotels located in the city center. The rooms are quite basic, have a small flat screen TV and basic furnishings. Internet access available by internet access code card. The connection fails sometimes and was quite slow. No bar, but a small self service restaurant serving simple but tasty Indian food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The building is quite modern. The rooms however could be a bit cleaner (dirty walls). Air conditioning not that efficient and very loud so that you can hardly sleep with the AC on. The location is not good. No dining options in the neighborhood; you have to go by taxi to find something for dinner. The neighborhood is also a bit scary.
