We loved our honeymoon here! The villa was absolutely stunning and the privacy was perfect! Your villa really is your own little world and as the service is completely excellent, you would never have to leave it if you were so inclined. We loved the private pool (which was quite large considering other locations) and how we could walk straight from the bedroom into the pool. The outdoor bathtub and shower were also a nice touch. The villa was ideal, especially for a couple seeking privacy and relaxation. :)

Our package included several extras that made this villa even more worth the money. We loved the romantic candlelight dinner (with personalized menus and rose and frangipani covered pool). We also loved the picnic lunch- again, in complete privacy with an unbelievable view of the rainforests. The cooking class so much fun and having the car charter was wonderful as it helped us explore the beauty and wonder that is Bali. The spa service was divine and we loved having it done in our villa.

What made this place exceptional was the quality of the service. They were friendly, truly friendly, at all times. Due to flight delays, we missed our first night at the resort. Fearing that we lost one night that we would not get refunded, we were devastated. As soon as we arrived, however, our butler was ready with a new package offer and price for six nights instead of seven! They really try to make you feel at home there and every request was taken seriously and executed with charm. You not only have your butler/s at your service but really the whole staff as each and every person there takes the effort to make your stay memorable. The little touches like the cinnamon sticks for coffee stirrers instead of spoons reflected the care and thoughtfulness they put into their service. We spent one month in SE Asia and nothing topped the amazing service and care we received from Kayumanis. We cannot recommend enough a stay here, especially for romantic purposes, and eagerly await our next possible time to visit again.

My husband & I stayed at the Kayu Manis Nusa Dua for our honeymoon last year. From the minute we were greeted at reception, we were bowled over with the minimalist yet elegant decoration & interior design. It was the most luxurious place we have been to & we spent 3 blissful days in our private villa complete with a plunge pool & outdoor showers.it was liks staying in one of the resorts you often see in magazines & travel programmes. We managed to get a good deal at USD250 per night for our villa (considering that Four Seasons is prices at USD400) which included daily breakfast in our villa plus a personal buttler who even accomodated our request for packed lunch of a local delicacy - Babi Guling. We just didn't want to leave the villa! We even had a spa treatment in our villa on the deck chairs!
Highly recommended for honeymoons or even a romantic getaway.

WOW!!! That's the best word I can come up with to describe how my husband and I feel about our ENTIRE stay at Kayumanis in Nusa Dua. From the beginning (I started planning for our honeymoon back in January 2005) the staff at Kayumanis were beyond gracious, hospitable and accomodating, they were downright some of the nicest people I have ever met. Yola, who was the first person I dealt with when planning for our trip to Kayumanis was beyond accomodating of our financial needs and offered us options that were realistic but still nice. She was prompt in responding to each and every email I sent, especially after the bombings in fall of 2005. My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite for 6 nights/7days at the end of December 2005. The weather was slightly cloudy but it was welcome considering the heat without the clouds. The staff from the moment we arrived made sure we had everything we wanted. We ate massive lobsters for dinner, saw a temple dance, went to Ubud, Jimbaran, and Kuta. A guide from the hotel was with us at all times. We are fairly outgoing people so we had a great time with the staff and felt like we were with friends than with strangers. The grounds are quiet and peaceful and remote, just what we wanted after a hectic wedding. We were not impressed with Kuta, in fact we actually found it to be a tourist trap. The breakfast in the mornings is beyond impressive. We ate brkfst every morning in the villa and were able to order as many items from the menu as we wanted for the same price and it was delicious. We took advantage of the romantic and barbecue dinners served for two in your villa and they were both well worth the extra charge. One day we had a craving to go rent a movie and even that was arranged and the hotel took care of it for us. We were slightly weary that all the extra services we seemed to be getting were going to add up to a pretty penny on our final bill. Low and behold, we were charged properly and according to the basic services provided. The Balinese (or perhaps the staff at Nusa Dua) are incredibly honest, caring, thoughtful, generous people. My husband and I were literally in heaven for 7 days and had no desire to return to the real world. There is so much that I am still leaving out and even more that I can not express properly. If you want an incredible experience at a price that won't break the bank Kayumanis will not disappoint, not in the slightest!

I was blown away by the Kayumanis - both in Ubud and Nusa Dua. First, the service was top notch, everyone was incredibly nice and hospitable. Second, the private villas were unbelievable, they each had huge private pools and were decorated really well. I went with my fiance and we both love to travel and stay in nice hotels and this was definitely the best! Kayumanis Nusa Dua is great because you have a private beach (away from the euro-trash at the next resort) and so it's really peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend!
