It was a shopping trip for 5 days. I made booking through Intercontinental Hotels Group website. The holiday was full because of new year holiday in indonesia.

From the airport , we took a cab straight to Holiday Inn. We were greeted by the friendly staff & we went to check in counter. The receptionist at the counter wasnt so friendly. We were also informed that our room was not ready to be checked in so we had to wait. So we decided to walk around the city. I asked them to bring our luggages to our room but when we came back our luggages were still there at the luggage counter.

The room was spacious & clean. We were given 2 bottle of mineral water each day, and drinking water from the tap is not advisable. You dont want to get sick, trust me. Even if you boiled the water. Each morning, the staff will come to your room for mini bar checking. I guess they didnt want us to take anything from the mini bar & replace it with new one. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. Loved their breakfast buffet. You can order food from the restaurant 24-hour. One thing I don't like, the air cond water kept dripping & wet the carpet. If you were sick, you can call for medical treatment. If u needed taxi or limousine or personal driver, the hotel can arrange them for you. Across the street, you can find 1 factory outlet & a money changer.

You can also travel around the city by 'angkut'. It's cheap, only 1000 to 2000 rupiah for 1 journey. Take angkut "Kelapa Dago" to go to factory outlets along Jalan Dago. To pasar baru, take angkut "Stasion". Pasar Baru is a place where you can buy lace material at cheap price. You can always take cab, just beware with the fare. They often charge more on tourist. The hotel is also near with Bandung Indah Plaza, go to the right from the hotel, walk straight, or you can take angkut. There, you will find a lot of fast food restaurant. To go to Rumah Mode, we took cab, around 25,000 rupiah.

I would say that It was a good experience staying at Holiday Inn Bandung. What I like the most is the location.

We were there on company outing trip. Bandung is a small scenic city about 2 hours drive from Jakarta. Overall our group in total were about 40+ people and we occupy 20+ rooms. We contacted the hotel directly to make all the arrangement for us and this, they organised it quite efficiently given the short notice.

Room is the standard 3-4 star hotel room which is not my usual 5* standard but perfectly decent. There is a King Bed, a writing desk with broadband internet cable, sofa chair, reading lamp and TV with lots of cable channels. Decor is plain but room and bathroom is clean though things are starting to wear out. Bathroom is very small but surprising has very good water pressure. Bed is comfortable. Aircon can gets very cold at night. I turn it off during my stay since Bandung weather is quite cool anyway.

My room rate include club lounge access which serves morning breakfast and evening snacks. It's small but functional. As the hotel was fully booked, it turn out to be an added convenience since I don't have to queue with other hotel guest for breakfast at the hotel cafe and can have it in the lounge instead.

The hotel also have a restaurant, a spa, swimming pool and a small fitness centre. Location is in the city centre and convenient to travel around. Bandung traffic can get quite bad during weekends.

Service was fine as far as I can recall but we were not at the hotel most of the time and go out sightseeing so only go back to the hotel to sleep.

Overall, this hotel is decent and comfortable and also very affordable as well. It's a perfectly adequate choice if you need a hotel to stay for the night. There aren't much good choices in this small city anyway.

The Holiday Inn was an excellent hotel for what we wanted in a comfortable and secure stay.
The staff in all departments were helpful and courteous.
The meals were good, however breakfast could have more dishes to choose from, but only a small detail!
Our stay at the hotel coincided with my birthday, to my surprise and delight, the staff had arranged a birthday cake and a signed (by all) birthday card! Thank you once again.
Golden Bird limo-taxi drivers are 5 star, we used there services a few times, well recommended.
Would we stay at the Holiday Inn again? definitely

We stayed at Holiday Inn last week during our day visit to bandung. The hotel is centrally located in city centre with a lot of factory outlets nearby. The room was clean and spacious although we only got the superior room - all deluxe rooms were full. Breakfast was excellent! with a lot of varieties ranging from local indonesian breakfast to western style breakfasts. The hotel is defintiely one of the better Holiday Inn hotels we ever stayed and we definitely will come back to this hotel.
