“The incredible Gamirosu Hotel”

Gamirasu Cave Hotel

My mother and I stayed at this exquisite hotel. While touring around the region of Cappadocia, we came upon numerous other Cave hotels, and I can tell you firsthand that this was rather unique in numerous ways. The Gamirasu Hotel is full equipped with all the resources needed, such as Full Wireless Internet, reception, beautiful bathrooms (something rather lacking in general Turkey - there are only squatters outside of Istanbul). Although these caves are believed to be from the Hitties period, over four thousand years ago, this hotel is completely stable. Not to mention the breathtaking views of which I will never forget. Simply walking around the town of where the Gamirasu Hotel is located, whether on horse, bike (both of which are free), or even just walking around, you really get a sense of what Turkey, not tourist Turkey is like.

“Quite a Trip!”

Gamirasu Cave Hotel

Hotel was chosen by the tour operator and was delightful. The location is truly remote but they have bikes and horses available for riding and a lovely valley in which to hike. The rooms were spacious and the staff was incredibly friendly. It was a wonderfully relaxing place to crash at the end of a full day of touring. Two caveats, however, it is really the only game in town--for food as well, and the dinner each day is a fixed-price, fixed-menu offering. Both were excellent and YTL28 which was reasonable, but if you want a place with a vast menu from which to choose, this is not your spot. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

“Peace of Mind”

Gamirasu Cave Hotel

May 19, 2008

I had very low expectations of the gamirasu cave hotel in capadoccia but upon spending 3 nights there i was pleasantly surprised. With impressive masonry and peaceful surroundings, it is the perfect hotel for a restful holiday. Capadoccia has immense reserves of natural beauty and spellbinding views. Our guide, Mr. Murat, took us to the right places and the hospitality shown to us by the staff at the hotel, owned by Mr. Suleyman, made it a memorable holiday for my whole family..

“We really enjoyed!!!!”

Gamirasu Cave Hotel

May 14, 2008

My friend and I stayed 1 and 1/2 day at hotel. We enjoy this time there. Place is amazing and staff was so very helpful. They arrange transfer from/to Goreme and Urgup. Ayvaly village is typically beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable and full of details. We had a wonderful time there. 100% recommended.

“Simply the best!”

Gamirasu Cave Hotel

5 of 5 stars
bombay, india

the gamirasu cave hotel is one of the most unique hotels i've stayed in (FYI, it has also been written about by top travel magazines like the conde naste traveler & been rating the top 10 most charming hotels of turkey as well)!

the entire hotel is "ill with atmosphere" oozing charm and character from every nook and corner. the hospitality is almost impeccable, the hotel staff very freindly and thier alacrity to please their guests reflects the mindset/ philosophy of the owner: mr ibrahim, who should be a role model for aspiring hoteliers such as me.

i truly belive that any trip to cappadocia (or even turkey for that matter) would be not truly complete without a visit to this lovely hotel! the furnishing/appointments are of high quality, the food is excellent (even for VEGETARIANS) and the staff leaves no stone unturned to take that extra mile to please the guest. the gamirasu hotel also runs their own travel agency by the name of 'eupharates tours', thus providing a ONE STOP SOLUTION for all travel needs thourghout turkey. they have well, informed EXPERT & thoroughly entertaining guides to show up around (ask for MURAT in particular: terrific bloke): and all travel agency enquires can be directed to mr suleyman cakir (most professional, polite and freindly agent i've come across) or ms pinar. their travel agency is as (if not more special) as the hotel itself: the literally take the worry away from the holiday and provide a full travel solution for turkey, including hotels, guides, vehicles etc etc.

the entire staff at the hotel too is brilliant: from the property manger Mr barish to the receptionist Ms Burgu and everyone else too. the hotel also offers free internet access, free calls to the united states and europe etc etc. the best thing about the gamirasu staff is that if it's humanly and logistically possible, your request will be heard and the endeavour will be genuine to address it.

for a truly memorable and authentic turkish expereince, make sure to budget at least 3 nights at the gamirasu cave hotel in cappadoccia. if i have to sum up the property in one word, i'd have to say that the word "INEFFEABLE" comes to the mind immediately.
