The dining room staff was Very helpful, and the food was pretty good, especially since it was included in our room price. However, in the three nights we stayed there, we were in three different rooms before we got one with functioning plumbing as well as a hide a bed without the mattress falling through the frame. The front desk was less than helpful in resolving the problems.

Hotel is in good location just few minutes away from coastline and beaches.
Staff is generally nice and helpful.
Breakfasts are tasty, there's much choice and breakfast is slightly different each day.
A/C working well, but it's little bit noisy (it's not a problem).
Swimming pool is outside in basement level. Is small, but enough for some water fun.
Public spaces are great. Wireless internet working there fine, but not in rooms.
Rooms itself are little bit outdated. Needs renovation, but i think hotel doing it now (we saw some old furniture outside hotel). Toilet isn't working too well, there's no sat TV (only few local channels), wardrobe was totally unusable (some rubbish inside).
Generally hotel is worth it's price. We book it for $70 for triple room with breakfast. I think it's good deal for Aqaba, but if You plan to use private beach, consider booking at IC for example. Non-guests entrance fee is 20JD, while guests enter for free. Add this price to Golden-Tulip room-rate and check if IC don't have same rate at Your dates.

Apparently the hotel has moved now...we found it on al sa'eda street. The roof top plunge pool is now outdoors below the reception. The pool was very clean and not crowded and pleasant. The staff seemed helpfull. The hotel bar was gorgeous and the free wi fi in the reception was also a perk. The breakfast was perfect a choice of jordanian and english. ie fuul,humus,oil bread, eggs, french toast, cereal, gorgeous pastries. The setting of the hotel is good - very close to the coniche and waterfront.

Rooms were very spacious with free safe. air con was in working order and not particularly loud. In the hotels previous location i think the air con was a problem so i was slightly woried upon checking in but no probs there.

Possibly the maid was having an off day when we got there as there were hairs in one of the beds although next night spotless sheets. The oddest thing was on the 2nd and last night i was putting my clothes in the wardrobe and i heard a scrabbling and scratching in the ceiling, it sounded much to big to be a bug but it was only for a few seconds so maybe it was the air-con and i didn't hear it again so thought nothing of it.

I'd definitly stay there again as the early bird rate online got us a great deal. one tip! if you've incourred any charges upon checking out go through them with a fine toothed comb as the staff were tring to charge us for a drink in the bar which we never had!!!!

nice place, except the air conditioner didn't work and they brought me a portable one, but it was really just like a fan.
it does have a great location, on the same block as the "good" bus to amman. close to shops, good places to eat.
i would stay here again, but would be sure the AC worked first.
