We stayed here , in a standard room, for a total of 4 nights at the start and finish of our first (but certainly not last!) visit to Japan in 2006. Our welcome was very warm and the room was fantastic, all the amenities you could wish for and floor to ceiling windows. Not so good if you suffer from vertigo! Amazing views, especially at night. Don't miss a drink in the sky lounge, have a Bellini, it's delicious if a bit pricey. The hotel and its staff helped us to 'settle in' to Japan as we were a bit apprehensive as it was our first trip eastwards! Tokyo was in full swing for Christmas , the shops and lights were amazing. The hotel staff were very helpful with directions to city attractions, the concierge in the main lobby has loads of info. sheets which are easy to follow. There are several excellent restaurants in the hotel,we liked the shabu-shabu one and the 'early' breakfast one where you can eat from 05.30. Useful as some of the tours start pretty early! Service was very good and friendly throughout the hotel. We would certainly stay here again. Can't wait!
