At 100RM per night the Melatai is a good price for cenang beach. The rooms are basic and are only cleaned upon request but if you are a late riser then this could work to your advantage, there were also some squashed insects on the wall. We stayed in room 17 which is on the beach with table and chairs outside as is room 16, the rooms have air con, TV (only 3 channels none in english) and mini fridge and a warm shower the toilet takes about 20 minutes to fill up after each flush and it started to get irritating listening to it fill so i used the hose pipe next to the toilet to speed up the process and the door to the toilet is not much use. The staff were polite and helpful and they have a laundry service across the road and also a reasonably priced breakfast bar next door. I would recommend this motel to budget travelers but for 20RM more the Malibest next door is a better option.
