Moscow is a very expensive city so but for the price and location we really enjoyed the Savoy Hotel. The rooms were very quiet and well appointed. Our room was a comfortable size and decorated with pleasing colors and nice architectural accents. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and black out curtains which is important during the long days of summer. The marble bathroom was very beautiful and spacious with plenty of extra toiletries. Breakfasts were included with our room rate and were really a treat as the breakfast room (also served as the main dining room for dinner) was very beautiful with lovely baroque decor. We enjoyed siting near the lovely fountian/pond and watch the koi fish as we ate. There was a large selection of foods to choose from and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. The Kremlin and Bolshoi was just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy Hotel and Moscow.

There are few hotels more centrally-located than the Hotel Savoy. Although it is an expensive hotel (but which hotel isn't in central Moscow?), I found it to be small, friendly, and clean. The lobby sitting area is charming and comfortable. The swimming pool is a tranquil paradise in the middle of this big city. The rooms are tastefully furnished, and the English-speaking staff is helpful and courteous. I feared that our room would be noisy due to Moscow's notoriously bad and unpredictable traffic, but the windows in my 5th-floor room proved to be excellent at blocking outside noise.

I have stayed to many hotels in Moscow and have hardly found a good hotel for the huge price they are asking for.
I must say that the Savoy although is an expensive hotel offers one of the best value for your money.
It has a great location, nice efficient staff, nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast was also very good.
Overall very good hotel compare to what you can find there.
I will come back.

Stayed at this hotel from 17th to 19th October 2007.

Organised airport transfer was efficient, albeit journey from the airport took 90 minutes.

Room was large, comfortable, clean, and despite being on a low floor, quiet. They also allowed us to check it at 9.00am

Air France had lost our bags, but the hotel supplied us with various extras to assist us, without asking, which was a nice touch. They also kept in regular contact with the lost baggage det to ensure we got our bags.

Breakfast was nice but not fantasitc. The bar was confortable, with good vodka, albeit a bit pricey.

All in all I would stay there again if coming to Moscow. Shame that we lost at football though!
