Just left the hotel today. Since nothing to do at night, I'll just write the review while still remember the detail. The hotel is located right behind the Pavillion, which I believe is quite new. It was not there when I went there in 2006. We stayed there for 5 nites, and left just on the day the Mega Sale in Malaysia started, which kind of made my wife 'sad'. OK here is the detail.

1. The location: the hotel is located in a great location. Behind the Pavillion, right between Bukit Bintang and KLCC. Bukit Bintang is about 5 minute walk, assuming you don't stop at all. KLCC is about 10 minutes. The monorail is only 2 blocks away, Raja Chulan. I don't think it can get a lot better.

2. The room: the regular room is quite on the small side, although it is still acceptable. We got the corner room, which is not the rectangular one. The bed is OK, the room is clean, passed our inspection. The bathroom is clean, good shower. The lights are bright. The pillows are down, very comfy. Overall, more than OK.

3. The staff: great, no complain from me at all.

4. The restaurant: breakfast is great, no complain there. The selection is quite a lot. Especially like the pastries. Suggestion for improvements will be on the variety. Almost the same thing every day. Did not get the chance to eat in the restaurants other than for breakfast, but we thought what was the point to eat in a hotel restaurant in Malaysia.

5. The price: quite reasonable, considering the locations.

Stop over for 3 nights on way to Oz, Not great on arrival, after travelling for 16+hours no family room available as promised, in fact they dont even have one!! beware as Travel Agent was told they do. Also they tried to charge us for one persons breakfast which we had already paid for! Apart from that, good clean hotel, nice room although crowded with extra bed which was put in for 2nd child, great breakfast plenty of choice. near and handy for shops in a nice business area of KL great pool and lounge area.
About an hour from airport.

Very good hotel the pool is a bit small but its ok. the food in the hotel is quite expensive so its better to eat out. its situated in an very exclusive area so its quite expensive in the area around the hotel. there is a monorail station that is situated about 5 mins away(walking). Hotel staff are very friendly. Don't get a blue taxi from just right outside the hotel- very expensive. Rooms are very comfortable though.

We stayed at Novotel in 2 occasion, both was for 2 nights. We arrived KL late and as a good start our room was ready for us, check in procedure was hassle free .
Come to our room, surprised to have a room with partly view of Petronas twin towers and it looked maverlous at night. Our room is a deluxe (cheapest category) but the size is reasonable big, clean and lots of space for store our luggages. We booked direct with Accor' site and get cheap rate ( A$ 79 / night all inclusive and b/f ). Our room was a connected room and I could smell the smoke from other room despite we were on non-smoking floor. Bathroom amenities were bathfoam, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash but no toothbrush and saving kit. We had rang housekeeper asking for it and borrow the iron and ironing board: Its coame within few minutes, a good point for housekeeper.
The hotel breakfast provided a medium varieties for both local dishes and western dishes, main hot dish changed at second day (don't know if it repeat on third day since we only stayed 2 days, and on our second stay, the hot dish was same as our first stay and changed same hish as my second days of my first stay).
The front desk staffs, breakfast room staffs and bellboy staffs are so friendly and helpful. The location is good too: next door to Pavilion Mall' back door and therefore we just take few minutes to Bintang Walk, to other side is Convention center and it link to KLCC Park, Suria Mall and Petronas twin tower. The traffic is a bit heavy at morning and afternoon but bearable .
