It is obvious this was at one time a 5 star hotel but time has taken its toll. I was in and out of Manila during my 10 day trip and stayed a total of 5 nights in 3 different rooms at Century Park. It appears they do not have the funds to make repairs when something goes wrong. There is a switch should automatically turns off the closet light when you close the door. In 2 of the rooms it failed to work properly. Most closets just closing the door would solve the problem, but since the sliding doors are not much more than a screen I had to unscrew the light bulbs before going to bed. The entry light would not turn off in one of the rooms so again I had to unscrew the bulb. It appears that a flood from the bath horribly stained the carpets in two of the rooms. The carpet has never been replaced. It took 4 trips to the front desk to get a key that worked for one of the rooms. The service and quality of the food from the restaurant was excellent though expensive. They even had a small orchestra playing in the lobby every night we were there.
