My father, uncle, and I stayed three nights (in two rooms) in late March. Check-in was a little slow but it was very late at night. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the housekeeping. The morning buffet was fine with standard fare and more exotic, native fare. In honor of the approaching Easter holiday, they displayed live chicks and bunnies in the lobby; as one of the chicks was dead I think they should dispense with the practice. The hotel is
just a parking lot away from the SM Harrison Mall. This was extremely
convenient. This was my third trip to Manila and the best hotel experience.

Typhoon hit Manila on the 27th of September and alot of damage was to Manila and the surounding communities. All International departure flights were cancelled on the 28th of September sending all passengers scrambling for hotels. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in everything from checking in to a good dinner before going to bed. The facility had a backup generator which kept the aircon working which is very important for guest during the month of September with the humidity. Close proximity to banking, food facilities, shopping mall and the U.S. Embassy. They have a wonderful buffet on site as well. Hope others will enjoy the clean and comfortable rooms.

Stayed here for 4 nights. It's across the street from SM Mall. The hotel lobby is nice with live music Friday nights. The breakfast is great with a huge and wide variety of items. It was very good. We were on a non smoking floor (11th). Everytime we got off the elevator on our floor, it was very outdated and worn looking with a very musty and old smell. Our room was a end suite,very large with a old refridgerator. We overlooked the helio port and SM mall. We received a welcome tray of fruit, nuts, water, and a bottle of rum! ( I heard the owner of the hotel owned the rum company). It was comfortable even though it too needed updating. I read we would have internet access but we did not. We had to go to the business center to pay for it. At least it wasn't too expensive, around $3 for 30 min. Staff was attentive and friendly enough. Once all rooms and hallways are updated, it will be an above average hotel. Until then, I'd rate it 3 1/2 stars. Very few Westeners at this hotel compared to other hotels in Makati area that we stayed at during the same trip.

was there for four nights.... location is wonderful. close to huge shopping mall and several great restaurants.... also close to Phil. National Bank and Equitable which are institutions that allow you to use VISA type of ATM transactions ( difficult to find in the Philippines). nice pastry shop nearby, great breakfast buffets in the restaurant but rather condescending female staff in the dining area, tenth floor was noted to be nonsmoking but cigarette smoke was in our room the whole four days and nights we stayed there with no hope for better air to breathe other than going out of our room. Great Friday night musical ensemble in the lobby. Our floor electrical connections were frayed and not repaired we had to cover it with our floor lamp stand. High tech door systems were a neat surprise. A little overrated. housekeeping staff very responsive,
