I stayed at the Ramada, Ankara for 6 Nights on a Business Trip. The room booked for me was the deluxe room so was quite big. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was big with 2 wash basins.

The bad points, the room service food was terrible. The breakfast on offer was very poor and had to contend with eating coco pops every day.

The food outside the hotel is a lot better.

The service at this hotel is terrible. Although I booked an airport car through them, which should have been charged on my bill, they tried to push me into giving cash to the driver. It was obvious this was because they had given the job to a friend rather than the official service. I was collected in a min-van rather than a car, which at the price they charged is ridiculous. On the return to the airport the driver gave a lift to his friend, taking me out of my way. The driver was also a maniac.

The hotel bill was paid with my company credit card, which I noticed three months later had been billed a small amount each month. When I contact the hotel they told me it was because sosmeone with my exact name had been staying there at the same time and he'd asked to loyalty scheme, which cost the amount I was having taken from my card. I do not have a common name, so this is utter rubbish. It looks as though they saw it was a company card and were taking only a small amount thinking it would not be noticed.

This Ramada is a franchise run hotel and this review is not contected to the Ramada organisation itself, just this specific hotel.
