We stayed in this Hotel for 3 days in march 2008. It is the best choice to stay in the historic centre of salvador. We have received a very good treatment. The staff is available 24 hours on 24 and they speak english, french, spanish and italian very well. Cleanliness is impeccable.
Breakfast is excellent.
We recommend this hotel at all.

I had a really great holiday, in Salvador, Brazil. The hotel helped me in finding all the principle tourist points in the town. And gave me a great deal of information on the town.
They also made me feel right at home, were extremly polite, and gave a really good freindly service. I couldn't have asked for anything else.
I would recomend staying at this hotel for everybody.

I went to Brazil for the fist time and I was a little scared about what they said about the violence over there. But once in Pelourinho I was really surprised to see and feel warm surroundings around me. My boyfriend and I staid in a really cosy hotel called Studio do Carmo in the middle of the historic quarter in Salvador. The italian guys who manage the hotel are really helpful and they said us everything about the city that we need to heard. The rooms are clean and spacious. Price is in a good relation with the quality of the room and services. The breakfast is delicious.

When I saw the pictures of the cosy rooms, I knew immediatley, that I would love that place.
And so it was. The very friendly hosts gave us a warm welcome. Our room was excellent: spacy, very clean and a warm atmosphere. The view was fantastic - it is directly opposite of a church with many stairs.
The breakfast is served in the rooms, which was so nice, because you could just get up without dressing up. Also there was a varity in the food every day: besides rolls there was always fresh fruit, sometimes cakes,...
All in all, it was a fantastic stay! :)
