We stayed here for four days at the end of November. The old saying, "You can't judge a book by it's cover" was never more true. The property itself is amazing. There is a walking trail through a forest and garden and some cages where birds are being kept for breeding. The pool area was very nice, but the tile gets extremely hot so you need to get from the pool to your chair quickly. As with other reviews, I can understand the "Time Warp" comments. The buildings were definitely dated, but the free breakfast was very sufficient including a waffle/omelet bar.
The only problem with this hotel was the room. Although sufficient in size, the bed was about as small as a twin, and shorter. Two 6 foot adults barely fit and our feet hung off the ends. Additionally, the bed was beyond firm. It was like lying on a hard-wood floor. If you do decide to stay here, request a room with two beds. The TV didn't work that well either. Also, the "gym" was substandard, the tread mills barely worked and the weight equipment was dated.
WARNING: At the time we were there, they were doing construction on the rear of the building. Fortunately, they did not start too early.
