We spent a few days of our honeymoon at Vila Pitanga. First of all, we loved Buzios! We have both traveled extensively in Brasil, but Buzios is without comparison. The pousada was perfect. It is situated in a very quiet neighborhood, on a street that has not yet been bricked over. The pousada is a short walk away from the Centro and also very close to the Praia da Ferradura, one of the best beaches in town.

Denise was a gracious hostess and really worked to make us feel at home. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and nearby activities. Leila was also a sweetheart and gave us a short city tour when we arrived.

Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and the hammocks were very nice.

Without hesitation we would return to Pitanga, especially during the winter months when Buzios is so calm.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in this beautiful pousada and enjoyed every aspect of it.
The pousada is located less than 10 minutes walk from the center and it is a short walking distance to the two of the most charming beaches in Buzios.
The rooms are big, comfortable, clean and with a tasteful decoration. They have great view, and each room has an nice hammock in its balcony.
Breakfast was great.
On top of everything the price is surprisingly affordable and the owner (Denise) is very friendly, informative, and helpful.
We will definitely stay there again in our next trip to Buzios.

Buzios is a paradise of a place, made even more perfect by staying in this incredibly well kept posada.

We spent 3 days here - and wish we had time to stay longer!Denise was amazing, advising on beaches to visit, restaurants to eat in and other highlights across Brazil that we should visit!

She also managed to get us a beach buggy dropped off door to door so we could explore the area even more!

The breakfast was great - in fact everything was great, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone heading out!!

This is a fantastic little Posada. The rooms are immaculate and the showers are great. We were made to feel very welcome by Denise who helped us on both our stay in Buzios and also in the rest of Brazil, in perfect English!
