The Sun and Sand is not, in and of itself, a bad hotel, really - rooms were nice, breakfast was good, service was fine-- but for $250 a night you should at least get some hot water (water didn't even get lukewarm when I showered at 10am)....and how is it that all the hoteliers on Juhu beach can feel justified charging upwards of $200 a night for a room when just outside their property, whole families are relieving themselves on the beach...just steps from where their guests are playing in the waves. Why can't these hoteliers band together to set up some decent toilets for these people? Ugh.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel. The staff are SO attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself may not be the cheapest to stay in, but it is still VERY cheap to eat and drink in this hotel by UK standards.... The beauty salon again is staggeringly cheap - 300 rupees for a head/back massage, 200 rupees for a manicure, 850 rupees for a full body massage in your room!!! If you like being pampered it doesn't get much better than this! The rooms were extremely clean and nicely furnished. I stayed there with my father, brother and sister and we would all definitely stay there again. In fact, we're chomping at the bit to go back already!

I have to say that this hotel was really nice. Perect location by Juhu beach and as we were attending the New Year party at the JW Marriott this was the perfect hotel locationwise. Staff were friendly, rooms were very nice. I would definetly stay there again although i thought the room rates were a little higher than they should be.

No words to say , i've been steyed there few times "EXCELLENT"
