Thisisby far the best B&B we ever stayed at. The view is unbeatable, the breakfast delicous andthe hosts are helpful in every aspecti. Close to the city and yet in a perfect country setting.This is a great place to stay when visiting the Central Valley.

If there is a paradise it is Costa Rica, and if there is place to relax and see this paradise, it is Casa El Dorado. A very nice atmosphere and the owners, Axel and Pamela are great hosts. They can book any excursion in Costa Rica you can dream up. The rooms are very comfortable and the view from the property over looking San Jose is truly amazing. I look forward to coming back next year!

As a frequent visitor to Costa Rica, I've always stayed in Major Hotels like the Marriott. This year as my plans were to spent the majority of my trip in San Jose, I decided to try something new.

My stay at the Casa El Dorado Hotel & Spa was fabulous. I was able to unwind and enjoy the relaxed environment, and really felt like I was staying at a friends home rather than a hotel.

Axel and Pamela could not have been more attentive hosts, and were there to help me with the tours I wanted to take and arranging transportation.

I would highly recommend Casa El Dorado to any first time visitors to Costa Rica. Very safe, friendly environment, beautiful accommodations, and having Axel and Pamela there to help guide you in the right direction and help arrange your trip is invaluable.

I will definitely be staying at Casa El Dorado on any future trips to Costa Rica for any time I'm spending in San Jose.

I say maybe the best stay ever for lots of reasons. A beautiful home with a beautiful view, both night and day, and the hospitality and food was wonderful. We had just spent a week on a mission trip and needed some down time. The massage was so good the first afternoon when we arrived that we decided to schedule a second massage. Outstanding massage, and we've had many. The unique stained glass windows throughout the house, the feeling of being guests in an incredible home, all contributed to one of the best stays we have ever enjoyed. We definitely will want to return the next time we're in San Jose.
