Hotel is on a quiet, tree-lined street in Recoleta area, near a pleasant park as well as shops and restaurants, and perhaps a 20-minute walk to the Recoleta cemetery (where Eva Peron is buried and where artisans sell their wares on weekends). Room was not real large, but perfectly adequate, with a modern feel (including new wooden floors) and queen-sized bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast, included int he room rate, was quite good, with both hot and cold dishes. There were two computers with free Internet use in the business center, but access was very slow. Restaurant and bar in the lobby area a bit austere in appearance, and not cheap, but prices not terribly bad (lots of options in the area). When you get a room rate quoted, verify whether VAT (about 25%) is included. Unlike Chile, where we were not charged tax on our hotel room, tax added nearly $25 to the rate here (making rate about $130 total, through Travelocity).
