We heard every word the nice Canadians who were next door said. We knew they were Candaians because we heard every eh.

Others in our group also got TV noise until 3 AM from adjoining rooms.

If you are a light sleeper - be cautious.

This was my first time in Buenos Aires and various websites had recommended the Loi Suites in Recoleta so I decided to give it a try. I loved it. The location is perfect with several tourist areas nearby and a large number of excellent restaurants and bars within a few blocks. The hotel itself does lack character to some extent, but it was spotless and very comfortable. I would not rate it as a five star property as they claim to be, but a good four star is more appropriate. The hotel staff could not have been any better. We were always greeted with a smile, excellent restaurant recommendations, perfect English, etc. They were the main reason I would recommend this hotel to a first time visitor-especially if they don't speak any Spanish. The breakfast was delicious, although maybe not as extensive as one would expect from a 4-5 star hotel. Everything was perfect for us- at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was our second stay at Loi Suites (and in the same room, actually), in what they call an Executive Studio. The room is spacious and even though it fronted Vincente Lopez street, the windows effectively blocked out the noise. The room furnishings are pretty decent, but the entertainment credenza looked like it came from Ikea and seemed out of place. I found the mattresses a little too soft for my tastes. The bathroom is in two rooms, both tiled in luxurious marble, and included all possible amenities.
The key selling point with this hotel, though, is its prime location in Recoleta, just around the corner from the cemetery. There are also plenty of bistro-style restaurants, just a half block away and it is a short (and inexpensive) taxi ride to most other parts of the city and the national airport.
What we enjoy the most about this hotel, though, is the young, courteous, and cheerful staff. They all speak excellent English, and even loaned us a cell phone to use during our stay the first time. We don't have any experience in other B.A. hotels to compare it to, but it has never disappointed us in our past two stays.

I was at the Loi Suites in Recoleta for 8 days at the end of November. The hotel is located in a great area of Recoleta within safe walking distance to the Cemetery, the craft show on Saturday and Sundays, copious bars, cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. You can get to most other areas of BA by taxi in 5 or 10 minutes.

The hotel is nice, I booked what they call an "executive studio" for 3 people and we had plenty of room, the bathroom was spacious enough to accommodate 3 of us, no problems. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff did a great job. The room had a mini bar, TV, CD player, safe, etc. We were on the 6th floor and never heard a sound in the hotel.

The breakfast is included and with enough variety to satisfy most appetites and tastes.

Front desk staff was courteous, all spoke good English. They were not helpful with recommendations on places to go, or questions about locales we wanted to frequent. They were always willing to look up the information on the internet and provide addresses and make phone calls, but they were not eager make recommendations about places to eat, tango shows, milongas, etc.

Hotel has a business center with 4 PCs, I used them daily and never had to wait. Most of the hotel guests are tourists and also some business travelers. Also a small but nice gym, sauna.

Overall I recommend this hotel primarily for the location, close to everything and in an area that is safe, easy to walk around and enjoy.
