This is one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed in. We had a Park Suite in the "Palace" section. The service was unsurpassed-they couldn't do enough for us beginning with our "butler" and every employee went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I've never had a housekeeper take all of my cosmetics and line them up like a piece of art on a towel in the bathroom! The huge walkin closet was fabulous-and the layout of the room very smart. The original crown molding,high ceilings, and and doors were kept but the room was very modern with a state of art lighting system ,flat screen TV etc...We felt like we had an apartment rather than a hotel room.The concierges were fast and helpful. One was concerned when we wanted to dine at an "authentic" Italian restaurant that I had read about in La Boca (not the best area)-he gave me his card and told me that the hotel would send a car if we ran into any trouble-he was sincerely concerned. All went well and we did have our "authentic" dinner! Every day there was fresh fruit in the room and we loved the breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the garden. The spa is lovevly even though it's in the basement-we enjoyed massages, the pool and nice workout room.The best night was a tango show at Bar Sur in San Telmo-reserve well ahead as it's a very small place. A day tour arranged by the hotel to the Tigre Delta was fascinating as well.

We loved the Park Hyatt. The hotel itself is a beautiful property, service was exceptional, and location was convenient for exploring BAs by foot. This is a great place for business travelers especially. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable, as can be expected in a hotel of this class.

I booked a two-night stay at the Park Hyatt from the hotel's website and was there for New Years Eve.

Check in was very quick. After realizing that I had an Executive Suite, the person at the counter called for a "Butler" who escorted me to my room and showed me around. It was massive with excellent views.

The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. In addition to the local outlets, the room had a number of Euro and US outlets, which was much appreciated. While there is no wireless internet, high speed wired connections are available. Both the bedroom and living room had flat screen HDTVs. There were multiple cordless phones which worked anywhere around the hotel property. The living room was huge as was the bedroom. They also had electronic controls for lights/fixtures like a Peninsula. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a shower and large jacuzzi-style bathtub.

The hotel offers free shoe-shines and 2 free pressings (at least for rooms on the executive floor). The Butler and Concierge services were top notch. They were able to arrange bike rentals on New Year's Day and an airport pickup for me at a future stop on my trip.

As it was NYE, the hotel provided a number of free gifts/surprises throughout the day -- sugar grapes, local dulce de luche, wine, etc. I believe that these were provided to all guests.

The hotel had a large, full-size lap pool. However, and this is probably my largest complaint, it was indoors in the basement (spa) area. I was disappointed that it wasn't outdoors or on the roof.

I did not have any meals at the hotel.

This is an amazing hotel and is priced like one. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Our stay started badly because the hotel had messed up our reservation. I had booked a Park Suite for three nights but they had reserved a Park Deluxe which is a smaller room and because the hotel was full they had no other room for us. The management then went out of their way to make it up to us finally moving us into the Park Suite
for the third night at the lower rate but in the meantime insisting we have a drink on them, have breakfast on them and also experience their cheese cave on them. It would never have occurred to us to go otherwise and we would have missed a highlight. Their cheese room is filled with every cheesy delight produced in Argentina and then matched by exceptional wines by the glass - unforgettable. I loved this hotel so much it was hard to get me out of it. The garden is such
a special oasis of calm in this busy city and it is such a delight to sit there for tea, drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner all of which tried out. The rooms are beautifully designed and the bed linen and towels are all of the highest quality. Very expensive but we will be back.
