Walking into the hotel felt a little dicey and had we not booked based on a great recommendation we may not have made it to the 1st floor. Fortunately, we did and were pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and warm reception. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable but the TV quality was poor. The bed was big and very comfy and the temperature was easy to manage. The internet access in conjunction with the great staff helped us navigate our way around the city.
We arrived in BA on a friday afternoon so checked into the hotel after many local businesses had closed. We wandered the neighborhood for a couple of days finding the LaDefensa Sunday market and a couple of mediocre restaurants. It was very convenient to walk down to the Puerta Madero in the morning to run along the beautiful green strips. On Monday morning when the neighborhood came to life we couldn't believe we were in the same place, suddenly life existed behind all those grafittied shutters.
The hotel provides a nice, basic breakfast to get started in the morning and we took advantage of that space one evening to make sandwiches after a long day of touring.
I had been annoyed with the noise of the funky elevator at night until I stayed at some other hotels during our travels out of the city and heard dogs barking and babies crying all night.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for the great staff, location, comfortable room and price

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are friendly and professional and the rooms are large and beautifully furnished. For the price it compares very well with 4 and 5 star establishments and its location is ideal for business and nipping into San Telmo or Puerto Madero in the evening.

My fiance and I stayed at the Moreno for three nights and found the hotel staff to be very friendly but there was a lot of miscommunication. I think there are some "kinks" to be worked out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern but if your going to stay at the Moreno to rest....forget about it! The beds were not comfortable and we don't recommend staying in room #16, #14, and #18 which are all first floor rooms. The street noise is LOUD!!! It is hard to sleep at 3 in the morning with loud car noises. Also, it would have been nice to have the option of room service especially on the first day of arrival. We were so tired! We were informed that restaurants don't open until 8:30 pm which we already were aware of as we are very well traveled but were looking for something quick on the first day. There weren't many options for food on the block...I will have the say the hotel is asthetically beautiful and whoever decorated did a great job.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff are super friendly. The hotel we were staying at in BA beforehand failed to tell us that the clocks would be put back. We checked out an hour early and turned up at Hotel Moreno at 11:30am. They couldn't have been nicer. Its a good location and will be further improved when the other bar etc facilities open. The rooms are very big. An excellent choice for BA.
