“The Best Place to Stay in Sedona-You Must Go!”

Boots and Saddles

After a great B&B experience in Ireland a couple of years ago, I booked a five night stay at Boots and Saddles for my husband and me based primarily on the postings on TripAdvisor. The setting, rooms and the hosts exceeded any and all expectations!

First, you must read the beautifully written review of Boots and Saddles dated April 17, 2008.

We stayed in both the City Slickers and El Dorado rooms. Both were great, but we preferred the City Slickers room, which was larger and included its own living room. The El Dorado room includes an outdoor hot tub in its own private patio. You really can't go wrong with either one!

I can't say enough nice things about Irith, Sam and Candyce. We were made to feel so welcome by all, and I shed a few tears when we had to leave such a beautiful and welcoming place! Sam's advice about what to see and do was invaluable, and I recommend you also adhere to his advice not to plan anything about your Sedona trip until I you arrive.

Both Sam and Irith recommended wonderful restaurants and other sightseeing/hiking/beautiful places to visit both in Sedona, and traveling to/from the Grand Canyon and Phoenix. My recommendation is to book your room and leave the rest of your itinerary planning to your hosts!

We also met some very fun and nice fellow guests at a couple of impromptu cocktail parties we held (with my sister and her husband, who also stayed at Boots and Saddles) in the B&B's lovely patio. One night eight of us ended up at dinner for a great meal and company at a wonderful restaurant just a short distance away called the Heartline Cafe (recommended by Sam and visited by us twice).

If you go to Sedona (and you should), you must stay here.

The best Bed and Breakfast experience ever. Sam and Irith are amazing hosts and Sam's breakfasts rule. Every request was met...and more time devoted to us by Sam than ever expected - giving us the "best kept secrets" of Sedona and Arizona.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Boots and Saddles. The Gentleman Cowboy room was spacious and cleverly decorated. The double hot tub was a plus! We had a great view of the mountains right from our bed! The breakfasts were delicious and sumptuous. Light hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon were a nice touch. The greatest thing about this inn is the owners, Sam and Irith. They were so genuinely welcoming and helpful. Sam provided us with great tips on local attractions and restaurants. Irith made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Sedona.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon last year and came back for our 1 year anniversary. Sam and Irith make us feel like close, personal friends and really go out of their way to help us find exactly what we're looking for in regards to food, sights, and shopping. Sam is a fabulous cook and says that he hopes that we don't get used to his cooking -- because that would mean that it was getting boring. He can try to bore me anyday! Irith is a decorating genius and showed us some of her architectural and interior designs throughout the B&B. As far as our room, the Gentleman Cowboy, goes, I think the air-jetted tub is our favorite part -- we used it every day and it was quite relaxing and romantic. I highly recommend any of the rooms, but my fond favorite is the Gentleman Cowboy because of the tub and it's charming interior and private entrance. If a shower is more to your liking, you will be AMAZED at the Sacred Feather or Ghost Rider Rooms. The showers are HUGE walk-ins with amazing views. We love it and we WILL be back. Besides, we have competition for "most-number-of-visits"!

Love,

Carol & Duane

“Luxurious Rooms, Personal Setting”

Boots and Saddles

Before our first baby arrives, my husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway. We prefer "luxury" type hotels and entertained the possibility of staying at L'Auberge or Enchantment. We're so glad we decided on Boots & Saddles instead! It was intimate and private with rooms that truly were luxurious (we stayed in Ghost Rider) at a price that was much more resonable. The guidance provided by Sam on the area was great! The highlight of our trip was the Doe Mountain hike he recommended! In heading off for a day trip to the Grand Canyon, we were also outfitted with a map giving perfect directions and outlining the best "stops" along the way! These are things we probably would not have known about otherwise! Thanks Sam and Irith!
