This B&B is simply a gem. Sam and Irith are committed to making a difference in people's lives and our stay there proved it. Our activities in Sedona and the Grand Canyon were clearly impacted by their caring, extensive knowledge of the area, hints on saving time, fabulous breakfasts, B&B location, and, most importantly, their dedication to service and excellence. You leave there with an extra shot of energy and esprit and it lasts upon your return to home. We will be back in Sedona soon and will be staying here again. We highly recommend it to all.

After a long 12 hour ride to Sedona, it was so wonderful to arrive and meet Irith at the Boots and Saddles Bed and Breakfast Inn. She is such a warm person and showed us to our room making sure it was all we had expected. I am not much for the western look, but found our room to be so tastefully decorated, so inviting and comfortable. The entire property is super clean, each room is so unique. All the rooms are very quiet. Even with 7 full rooms and 14 occupants, we never heard a sound from others. Each breakfast is unique and delicious. Sam really puts his heart into his cooking and also helping each guest have a fun, interesting and adventuresome time in Sedona. On your first morning there, he explains what Sedona has to offer. From the shopping, eating, hiking to where to go and see those beautiful sunsets. He is the greatest and is concerned that everyone has fun while they are in Sedona. We have been to several Bed and Breakfast Inns and truly enjoyed Boots and Saddles as our favorite. We really hope to go back to Arizona again in the future and we will definitely stay there again. Nothing else can match the wonderful 4 nights we had there.

“Another Great Experience at Boots and Saddles”

We stayed at Boots and Saddles for the second time recently (April 29-May 3) and had another wonderful time. Sam and Irith are so warm and helpful, it really felt like we were coming back to visit friends. This time we stayed in 2 different rooms--Ghost Rider and Sacred Feather. Both were beautiful and had red rock views from their private balconies (with hot-tubs). Sam's breakfasts are fabulous, and they always gave us great dinner recommendations. Some of our favorites are Cucina Rustica, Elote, Heartline Cafe, and Savannah's. Sedona has become one of our favorite places to visit and we can't imagine staying anywhere but Boots and Saddles!

“Wonderful time at Boot and Saddles”

Boots and Saddles

Boots and Saddles was a wonderful experience for us. We stayed in El Dorado, which was a beautiful room, although if the upper level rooms with a view had been available, we would have taken one of those. Sam and Irith are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are outstanding and very filling. Sam gave us a great orientation, complete with maps. He had a completely mapped out route with stops to the Grand Canyon, which was so helpful. Our room had a flat screen TV; they have canteens for hiking; a computer in the main living room if you must check emails (which I did); delicious cookies; coffee, tea and sodas; newspapers; and other conveniences. In sum, this was our first trip to Sedona, and it was enhanced by staying at Boots and Saddles.

“A Very Enjoyable Stay in Sedona”

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending our tenth anniversary at Sam and Irith's (the owners) Boots & Saddles. I mention Sam and Irith first because Boots & Saddles simply wouldn't be Boots & Saddles without them. They are delightful people who treat each guest as family and they possess a wealth of knowledge about Sedona and Northern Arizona. Sam is a gourmet cook and spoiled us each day with a delicious breakfast before we headed out to see the sights.

We stayed in the Sante Fe room the first night and the Ghost Rider the next two nights. While both rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable, we definitely preferred the larger Ghost Rider. The entire facility is well decorated and professionally maintained.

Boots & Saddles is located in West Sedona a couple of blocks off the main street running through town. While the location is a little ways away from the uptown shopping area, we liked being a little bit away from the touristy area. The location was fine for us.

We will definitely look at staying with Sam and Irith on our next trip out west.
