“Just Fine”

La Quinta Inn Sedona

4 of 5 stars
Southwest Desert
Oct 1, 2007

We stayed here for one nite in Sepember 07. Everything was just fine. We were on a long road trip and didn't want or need much more than a good place to stay and this is it. Clean, competent, quiet, there isn't much more we look for in a mid-priced hotel. The breakfast pavilion next to the pool was a real treat. It is bright and airy and a pleasant place to have b'fast. A nice way to start the day. Christina, who appeared to be equity, was most friendly. I would stay here again. The 20# limit on pets is not realistic, but the front desk is.

“Somewhat disappointed”

La Quinta Inn Sedona

2 of 5 stars
Tempe, Arizona
Sep 21, 2007

We wanted a moderately priced hotel near our hiking destination, and we got what we wanted, but it could have been nicer. The walls were so thin we could hear someone next door coughing. The sink leaked, spraying water over our feet, and when we told them about it at checkout they didn't do anything about it. The hot tub was closed, which they didn't mention at checkin. The breakfast was nice, and well stocked, but no pastries, only waffles and bread-type items. The fresh watermelon and cantalope were very good. We will try someplace in Sedona next time.

“Too far from Sedona, but ok”

La Quinta Inn Sedona

Sep 1, 2007

The hotel was quite ok, however when booking I had not been aware how far it is from Sedona. It's a 15 to 20 minute drive. Staff at the
front desk was neither rude nor friendly. The rooms are standard motel size, the bathroom is rather large. The room was not really clean, there was lots of hair on the bathroom floor and other signs of slobby cleaning. They have a nice little pool and a whirlpool. Right by the pool is a breakfast room, where a very nice breakfast with fresh fruit and warm waffles is served. We found everything well
stocked till well after the official breakfast time. Overall an average motel experience, though pool and breakfast were clearly above average.

“La Quinta - Bkfst SoSo - View Spectacular”

La Quinta Inn Sedona

2 of 5 stars
Illinois
Jun 25, 2007

We booked the La Quinta in conjunction w/the Verde Canyon Railroad package.

The breakfast would have been good but nothing was stocked and there was no one around to please ask them to do it.

The front desk personal were very helpful and informative. The view from our room was Bellrock which was awesome,

“Great value and location. Fabulous breakfast!”

We stayed at this hotel on June 2nd. We had booked directly with the hotel, using rewards points and there was a mixup, so we had to wait awhile for that to be straightened out. The young lady at the desk went above and beyond to get it straightened out for us and once she did, she upgraded us to a 2 room suite at no extra charge. The suite was wonderful. It had two separate rooms, a bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed, and a living room, both with TV's and their own cooling/heating system. The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was great. It was all spotlessly clean. The breakfast was well worth staying for. Belgium waffles and all kind of other breakfast items, even hard boiled eggs were on the menu. Juice, milk, toast, cereal, if you leave that breakfast hungry, its your own fault. They had a worker keeping everything stocked and the breakfast is served on a pavilion type room near the pool. It was spacious and was full the entire time we were there, everyone was taking advantage of it. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to Sedona, even with road construction. The area is so beautiful, we were glad we included it on our list of places to visit in Arizona. If you are in Sedona, you can't go wrong with this LaQuinta Inn. We look forward to staying there again next year.
