My sister and I where at the Wilshire for a short stay in june. Everything was as expected: we were upgraded to a beautiful room, service was impeccable, breakfast very good and dinner excellent and the location is just peerfect : you can walk almost everywhere which is a lot to say being in LA!

Room was shiny clean and room service outstanding.

Go and get pampered: it's worth every penny!

“Good For Spotting Glitterati”

Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel)

Jul 8, 2008

Located at the intersection of the Wiltshire Boulevard and Rodeo drive where the latter plays host to the most expensive and eye popping shopping that only the celebs can afford! Our room was as you would expect of a first class hotel and there was no complaint. However, the swimming pool facility was tiny for a hotel of this size and it was worse than being at a football match. The “Cut” bar was the place where folk wished to be seen in and surprisingly it was pretty obvious that “ladies of the night” operated blatantly. Something the management needs to address. The fine dining restaurant required reservations at least two days in advance because of the popularity and at the weekend just forget it as the rich and famous took precedent over the paying guests. That said there are plenty of eateries in the nearby vicinity. Our room had a mini-bar in-room safe and plasma TVs. Internet access was provided along with efficient air-conditioning

“Beverly Hills all the Way”

Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel)

I stayed there for two days in May and had an absolutely wonderful time at the hotel and surrounding area. This is truly a great Beverly Hills Hotel in a great if not the best location in Beverly Hills. It is located on Wilshire at the intersection of the world famous Rodeo Drive. It is two blocks from Wolfgang Puck’s signature restaurant ”Spagos” and numerous other great restaurants. There is also a Wolfgang Puck restaurant in the hotel which I did not eat at but it was crowded every night. I left my car in valet parking for my two day stay and then walked everywhere: restaurants and shopping at name brand department stores including Sacks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, plus many small boutique stores which line Rodeo Drive.

The hotel pool is not huge but big enough and heated to the perfect temperature, Plus the pool area has numerous lounge chairs and anxious staff helping you with towels and refreshment orders.

One of the best features of the hotel is the sidewalk eating area where you can sit at a table adjacent to the hotel right on Wilshire Blvd eat and drink and look at all the tour groups visiting Rodeo Drive and the people and cars of Beverly Hills. I found this seating area to be spectacular with great food form breakfast to late into the night and constantly changing scenery. The only downside to this area is that there are occasional street people who will approach you begging for handouts; one even came and sat at the table next to mine. These occasional distractions did not reduce the benefits of this areas but just be prepared to deal with it.

My room was upgraded to as suite and had two large flat screen TVs, a great bed, washroom, etc,. Everything was five stars.

I drove to the three other five star hotels in Beverly Hills proper and looked at them but they were all in residential areas and not within walking distance of anything besides beautiful homes. As a walker and someone who wants to be in the center of things, I ruled them out for potential future stays. The Beverely Wilshire is the right place in the right location.

The prices for everything was as high as the quantity. On the breakfast menu a "make your own bagel" is available for $19 and my eggs benedict with main lobster was $32. My room with taxes was over $600 a night. But if you want to stay in Beverly Hills and can afford it, this is the place to be. I am already planning my next trip there next month. Needless to say I highly recommend it.

“A Very Oasis-Like Exp. @ the Beverly Wilshire”

Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel)

1st of let me say that I am from NYC, so to experience going from blizzards to California Breezes was a piece of cake.
The hotel itself is magnificent, one of the best I have stayed at. The service was top-notch right from the start.
Front dest was exceptional, room was just as described- amazing.
The highlight of the stay was CUT- Truely one of a kind.
Room service was quick and pleasant.
Had a massage at the spa that was pure bliss.
Service at their pool was almost perfect.... the only thing missing were pool toys for my son.
My hat goes off the the pool staff. Matt was very friendly and took excellent care of us. Almost seemed to read my mind when he brought out a pair of googles and some smoothies to try. He was our favorite of the whole stay! Our waiters Jeff, Neneta, and Jake were amazing. Being on a business trip and needing to relax, the pool was the perfect oasis to escape to and enjoy relaxed, proffesional service. They knew I like my coke with very little ice and lots of lime; day after day they anticipated this and had one ready for me upon arrival. One day we had to wait almost an hour for a lounge chair, but is very understandable given the small pool size and limited number of chairs. More chairs and I am in Heaven.
Upon leaving, everyone wished me and my son a safe trip home and hoped to see us again. No fakeness there at all.... very refreshing.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL!

“Great location, great for children”

Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel)

4 of 5 stars
Potomac, Maryland
May 1, 2008

We stayed here with our two children ages 8 and 10 at the end of March. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Upon check in the front desk made a big effort to welcome our children. They brought out a little red wagon filled with stuffed animals and let the children select one. They also brought personalized cookies to our room, and since our stay included Easter Sunday "Easter Bunny" treats were also delivered.

Our room was very nice, but faced the opposite wing of the hotel--no view. We were told our view would be a "city view", it was actually of a building and HVAC units. We had a porch with some chairs and a table, but sitting out there was rough because each evening when we sat out there to have a cocktail, exhaust steam/smoke from the kitchen wafted directly in our faces.

The pool was nice, I recommend springing for the cabanas. We did this and enjoyed incredible service. The day we did not do this we waited over 45 minutes for chairs and chair side service was non-existent. They need to bring more chairs to the pool area--there was certainly room for them.

Our package included a rental car (nice Mercedes), but we also used the complimentary car service. This is for anyone needing to go within three miles of the hotel. This was wonderful for us because it eliminated the need to park at our destination. We had no problem getting the Rolls like the other reviewer did, however be aware that when they drop you off they often don't come back when they say they will due to scheduling back ups.

Overall, our stay was great. Our children were made to feel welcome and we felt comfortable and at ease. We encountered no "snootiness". We would stay here again.
