We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The innkeepers pay great attention to detail to ensure that their guests are happy and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommend the bike wine tour through Calistoga Bike Shop. Thank you for making our anniversary trip so pleasant!

We could only stay in the napa area one night. bear flag inn was perfect. it allowed us to visit wineries on the way to and from, since its located towards the end of the napa drive and the inn itself is adorable. nice guests, friendly hosts, good breakfast, views of vinewyards and hills. from the inn, we drove into downtown calistoga for dinner (minute down the road) and took some nice drives around the area too.

My husband and I spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at the Bear Flag Inn as part of a weeklong tour of Napa Valley. Of all five Bed and Breakfast's we visited, this was our favorite! The hosts are gracious and make you feel like treasured friends instead of just one-time guests. The rooms were pretty, comfortable, and not your standard fare of overdone florals and country-style decor. The breakfasts were the best we tasted and served as an inspiration when planning to accomodate overnight guests. However, the best feature of the property was the breakfast area which -- wrapped in glass and surrounded by beautiful greenery -- looked like something out of Southern Living magazine. Also served here are afternoon hor'deurves, a relished appetizer of cheese and local wine. We look forward to returning when next we visit the area! A must visit!

we stayed at the bear flag inn in calistoga, ca for 2 nights. our hosts made us feel very welcome and at home. i felt like i was walking into my best friend's house. the room was so comfortable and the breakfast out of this world. we were served wine and snacks in the late afternoon while we decided what to do for dinner. a very qiet and relaxing place.
