“Can't beat Christopher's Inn”

Christopher's Inn

We had a wonderful four night stay at Christopher's Inn. The inn itself is a very quaint and quiet retreat. The staff was very accomodating - even gave up their steamer to our room when they heard we were in for a wedding so we would be perfectly wrinkle free. Each morning we were treated to a breakfast basket delivered to our door and you can find port wine in the lobby in the afternoons/early evening. Upon check in they were extremely helpful giving us maps and tips on places to go. Dowtown Calistoga is only a block away from the Inn which made it very convenient to walk. The rates are reasonable, I would stay here again.

I do not think it a very good thing to just rip a small place like this but if you expect service, cleanliness, or an overall enjoyable experience DO NOT STAY HERE.

I was astonished at what they deemed exceptable to present to any customer.

“Great weekend retreat”

Christopher's Inn

My husband and I needed a one night stay in Calistoga,Napa ,Ca we love the mud baths and massages along with great restaurant's and wine. We only had one night to stay on a Saturday. Most places require a two night minimum and would be pricey. We called the Christopher Inn and found they would gives us a room for one night and their price (under 225) was below most . We booked it along with a Spa treatment at our other favorite place in town (Golden Haven). Having never stayed at this Inn we didn't know what to expect. Well we are going back and even the same room (7). The rooms and grounds are very well maintained. The antique furnishing was beautiful along with feather bed and fireplace.. They offer massages on the property as well. Our host was very informative to winerys /restaurants in area and even gave us coupons. One recommendation was the Castello di Amorosa winery, a 30 million dollar Castle built as a winery... unbelievable. In the morning a wonderful basket of fresh fruit/ yogurt /muffins along with coffee /juice is left at your door. Nice to just stay in our room and enjoy. We will recommend to all our friends as well as you.

“We loved Christopher's Inn”

Christopher's Inn

Mar 19, 2008

We were lucky to find Christophers inn and the charming town of Calistoga as the starting point for wine country trip. We enjoyed the breakfast basket in the morning, but the real highlight is the lobby with it's big fireplace, espresso machine, and a nice glass of port in the evening.

After a long day of touring the wineries in Napa, Alexander Valley and Healdsburg, we found this place to be a pleasure to return to. The staff also gave us lots complimentary winery passes and such, which really added a lot to the experience. We really recommend Christopher's Inn, and will be returning there on our next trip to Napa and Sonoma.

“Perfect Getaway at Christophers Inn”

Christopher's Inn

5 of 5 stars
Fairfield Ca
Mar 12, 2008

Looking on line it is really difficult to choose a place to stay in the Napa Valley. On a recommendation from the chamber of commerce visitor center we decided on Chrisophers Inn and it was perfect! I am not a big fan of the standard B and B which are usually smaller and often you run into other guests for breakfast etc. But I don't like boring cookie cutter Hotel chains either - Christophers Inn allowed for the privacy we want when we finally get some time together with out the kids but was also beautifully decorated with unique antique pieces. THe icing on the cake was the massages we had on the grounds - provided by the spa across the street-I would highly recommend!
