I love the look of this restaurant. It is in an "olde English" style building and the interior is done in rich green and wood tones, with cool windows. The bathroom has a bright gold sink and appealing stenciling. It is true that in the evenings, especially on weekends, this restaurant has loud live music and a young crowd on the outdoor patio. Now, I really admire and appreciate musicians, but I don't like to cozy up to an amplifier while I am eating. The best time to go is during lunch. It is always quiet then and that is when families and interesting tourists are likely to be there. Also, they have weekday two-for-one specials. I like their good 'ol hamburger and fries. I really love their curry chips (french fries with spicy curry sauce) appetizer. Also, their salads are wonderful. We have never had bad service here. I enjoy the cider and the stout (my husband tells me those are "girlie" drinks).
