“A sage choice”

Sagewater Spa

From the moment we walked through the door at the Sagewater Spa in Desert Hot Springs we knew we would be at peace. Our troubles fell from our shoulders as we were personally greeted by our hostesses/ guides/ mentors, and their pooch, Sage. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend every minute in the mineral waters in the pool and 100 degrees plus soaking tub. Once in a while we had to come out to prepare our barbeque meal, or go to sleep on our pristine white sheets. It was indeed, a sage choice to stay at the Sagewater Spa.

I like to begin with thanking Cristina and Rhoni for a providing a very relaxing and graitfying experience at Sage Spa. It was both my gf's and my first time there. At first, we thought "wow, this is a very small place for a weekend getaway." But then, we realized this place just made us feel just right at home. The place has about 6 rooms total. Each room has all access to amenities you need, such as kitchen, cable, dining table, etc. And, just about a couple feet away from our door-step is the mineral pool and jaccuzzi. So, it's just perfect: you go in for dip and come out and just relax in your room. The pool side also has a bbq grill and wireless internet connection, so you pretty much have everything laid out for you.

Sage Spa is a perfect place for a couple's getaway or even for friends' getaway. The service is indescribily awesome! For those who will be going there for their first time, make sure to eat their coffee cake. Omg! it's so good!!! And of course, try Cristina and Rhoni's mouth-watering "Caprina" cocktail. Hands down the greatest ! I know I will be heading back soon!

We came higly recommended to Sagewater by another Spa resort in the area. In reading all the reviews from notable press, and magazaine articles that featured Sagewater, it is every bit true and genuine! We were greeted by Christine and Rhoni with hugs and smiles! And the mascot, Sage~ a rambuncious Schnauzer joined in giving a few sniffs and leg snuggles!
We found the facility to be very secure and private. You need a key to get through the entry door. Lots of beautiful mountain views! We were lucky to see snow! We loved the room and all its simplicity~ don't expect this place to look like the Ritz, Marriott, or other big name brand hotels, if you do this is not the place for you. Sagewater boasts a clean, streamlined, comfy room. Cracks in the warm concrete pleasantly reflect its 1959 Circa.
The small kitchinette has all the necessities of home! Including a large pitcher full of cold water with cucumber slices! It's great to only share the pool, BBQ, with 6 neighbors not 200, and to smelly carpets or hallways. The bed is great with a nice firm mattress and to-die-for linen and make you feel rested in the morning. I cannot say enough for the Sagewater, except thank you for a wonderful stay! “Serenity Now”

The quality of experience at Sagewater is exceptional. Go for the wonderful pool (spring fed and always a perfect temperature), the minimalist decor, and the sense of serenity and peace that guests always observe. I've always made new friends when I stay. Best of all, this is a great romantic retreat--late night skinny-dips in the pool and spa when the lights have all been dimmed create just the right mood!
