We just returned from our visit to LA where we were fortunate enough to stay at Ville Delle Stelle for 4 nights. Most of you will agree, our biggest concern about booking a hotel 1700 miles from home is that you hope it's not a "roach motel" or in a horrible location, etc. etc. Ville Delle Stelle is the furthest from either of these two descriptions.
We stayed in the Art Deco Suite. Couldn't have been more comfortable and relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We traveled with our two early 20's daughters. There was plenty enough room for everyone to stretch out and relax. The decor is comfortable, yet very chic. One thing the website does not mention is the huge, flatscreen television with satellite TV in the master bedroom. Awesome feature.
We also rented a blue mustang convertible for our trip and were able to park it right in front (off street) of our suite. This suite has big, screened windows in the master bedroom that in the evenings you open and get the most relaxing breeze through the entire suite.
Just as they describe the suites on the website, are exactly what you get when you get there. They were most helpful in helping us to find transportation from the airport to the hotel (recommended because it's not so easy to find when you don't know where you're going and the Budget Car Rental is less than a mile from the hotel, so the next morning we walked there and got our car for the rest of the weekend).
The full kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you might want. Although we did not cook, they do have a coffee press in the room and had Starbucks coffee and the fixins' waiting for us so this was nice for the mornings. They also supply you with a full array of restaurants that deliver to the area and we did use one that although the wait was long for delivery, it was hot and delicious.
All of the conveniences of home are in the unit including bath robes, hair dryers, huge, fluffy towels, etc. etc.
I just can't say enough about how very nice this place was and I hope we will visit it again soon.
