I stayed at this hotel for three nights while in LA. Overall the service was good, the rooms were clean and spacious and the location was great for business in the Century City, Hollywood, Bel Air or Hollywood locations.
There are a few downsides to the hotel. The lighting in the bathrooms in horrible. Even with all the lights on the bathroom was really dark. Management tried to help by putting it wall-sized mirrors over the bathtub but it didn't help significantly. And who really wants to have a mirror in that location! Also, the bathtub was shallow -- if you like to relax in a soaking tub at the end of a busy day, this won't cut it. The towels were nice and fluffy with quality amenities.
The spa was also a letdown. I walked down to see about a simple manicure. The women sitting at the desk promised me a call to confirm a time the next day. No call came....until 2:15pm the following day asking if I was running late. Huh? No-one ever called to confirm an appointment and they still tried to charge me.
The room service food was good. They were quick with the delivery and the food was tasty and hot.
The valet service was speedier than most and I never had to wait over 5 minutes for my car to be brought. That is a big plus for them!!!
Overall, a solid business hotel but there are better spots close by that I prefer.
