me and my wife stayed at this hotel first time visiting from ENGLAND,, the staff was realy very helpfull made us feel very welcome breakfast was realy nice the room was realy clean with fresh linen fresh smelling well maintained great freindley housekeeping we were there for 5 nights and every night we slept realy good already have made pre res for next yr to stay at this hotel

Desk clerk was very helpfull in helping us get directions. We enjoyed Windows Resteraunt recomended by the desk clerks. Great value for the price.

Our group chose to stay at this hotel based on its proximity to another "conference" hotel located 5 blocks away, hoping to catch that hotel's bus to the LA convention center. We never did do that (i.e., walk the 5 blocks), due to the horrible neighborhood. The rooms were very worn, having filthy carpeting and stained wallpaper. I refused to sit on the chair in the room, being unwilling to guess at what had caused those particular stains. Since a number of the other guests (convention attendees) had apparently chosen this hotel based on similar reasoning (and the normally good reputation of the hotel chain), we were able to joke about it while huddled together at breakfast, but no one looked very happy or comfortable. I'm personally very happy that the convention in question will not be in Los Angeles next year, as I find the city in need of a wash in general...

We stayed in this hotel after being dissapointed with other hotels in the Los Angeles area. It was reasonable and pretty clean considering the price. The area was not the best, however the people did not bother you and we were able to find parking spaces...barely. The breakfast was nice and room service provided enough towels for all of us. If your looking for luxury, this is not the place to stay, if your looking for a place to lay your head. Comfort Inn is it.
