Wonderful environment-rooms are very clean,crisp and comfortable. Beds are wonderful. Wood floors are very nice-hard to find in that area-most everyone has carpeting. Great location for shopping and meals. Laura the owner is very personable and helpful. Outdoor space is very relaxing --- has loungers, ,huge but stylish heating lamps and a covered area to read or have a drink in the shade. Lots of magazines to read are offered in lobby area--nice for when lounging by the pool.

The Mod Resort is a relaxing, conveniently located, immaculately clean and pleasant resort. Laura is a great host and we couldn't have asked for more. The bed was super comfortable and we had a small kitchenette. For us, it was perfect.

Just came back from a three week holiday in Southern California. Stayed at several hotels and this was one of the best.

Loved the grounds and peacefulness.

We took the small room and it was very small. Laura did warn us. If we were staying longer we would have taken one of the larger rooms.......but ........we were there for the pool and the restaurants. Didn't need a kitchen.

Great place....great location

You had to practically pry us away from the Mod. Such a restful, peaceful and quiet escape, although so close to so much. As our flight in was delayed, we arrived at 11pm dinnerless. Laura gave us some edibles to get us through till morning, including a box of Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mints - my favorite). She is a relaxed and warm host. The room and the poolside lounging were fabulous. Top notch - highly recommended.
