“The worst hotel we have ever stayed at period. (Pictures)”
The beds sheets and pillows were unclean and stained, (see pictures). The room we stayed in was designed for one double and had two double beds. Because a second bed was added it made this room the smallest and most cramped room I have ever stayed in. We reserved a non-smoking room through hotels.com and got a smoking room (staff would not help us get a non smoking room). The bathroom was extremely dirty with mold growing in the tub and rust stains running down the rail, (see pictures). Staff was very unhelpful, we asked for a different room and they said that they were full and unable to switch our room. However the vacancy sign was on, so we called in from our cell phone and they said they did had rooms available. After we confronted them they said there was nothing they could do. Basically they did not want to switch rooms because they knew how horrible this room was. The overall condition of the walls, beds etc were very poor. Someone had a dog or animal in the room we stayed in and it chewed the lamp power cord, the staff would not fix this (see picture). One of the hot tubs didn't work. The only thing good about the hotel was that it was close to the Winter Park ski area. I just expect a lot more out of a hotel when paying $175 per night. Please for the sake of yourself, please stay elsewhere.
