We stayed 5 nights and had a very nice time. The room was very large, quite adequate for myself, husband and teen son. The kingsize bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The sofa was a pullout with an extension to the side that you could sit or lie on (or use as an extra bed for a small one) when the sofa was opened up which was quite nice. The A/C worked well. Bathroom was very large with fully tiled shower big enough for two. Only two things that need repair in the bath...the porcelain handle on the toilet was cracked when we arrived and by the time we left it had broken off. Also the floor outside the shower was always wet as the grout under the frame was gone. We will let the hotel know about this. Large balcony overlooked the ocean, had 2 comfortable chairs and a small cocktail table. The coffee maker was the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. It was a one-cup model that you put premeasured pouches in. Altho it was Starbucks coffee that was provided free of charge, the coffee was too weak and tasted terrible. Maid service was fine but they only came in 2 times in the 5 days we were there. We left the room for 3 hours and came back and still nobody had come. We asked them for some towels and put the trash out in the hallway for pickup. The pool was very nice with a 6 foot deep end. Not very safe for small children as it had no baby pool, the hot tub was great. Plenty of towels poolside. Very nice bar area overlooking the pool with afternoon live entertainment daily. Laundry room was a hike but close to the pool so we went there while the clothes were washing. $2.00 for wash, $2.00 for 45 min. dry time. We ate at the breakfast buffet twice, some said it was pricey but for $15/pp you can eat your big breakfast and still be full and skip lunch so to us it was a good deal. The grounds were kept beautifully. Free hourly shuttle service to town, free shuttle to airport. Overall, a very nice hotel even tho the exterior could use a few cosmetic upgrades.
