Hotwire Keywest and booked this hotel. So all in all is cheap. I paid 120 for the room.

Room is OK, without any major problem. Spacious room, TV, Clean Bathroom.

Small lobby to serve Free breakfast. Easily filled and they were also using the computer, not sure if there is wirelss LAN in the lobby, but no way in room.

The only complain is this motel is far away from major attractions. You need to drive 20 minutes to the popular area and park for $4/hour in a parking lot. Otherwise, meter is a quarter for 10 minutes! unbelievable.

If you drive there, you will easily missed Days Inn after you cross the last bridge.

Check in was smooth and front desk staff were very friendly. The exterior of the hotel is showing it's age and looks a bit worn. The room was okay. Basic accomodations but clean and sufficient. Pretty far from town, parking is a pain and cabs are expensive. Not the best location if you are planning on spending a lot of time on Duval Street. I selected this property based upon price.

It's what I paid for - a cheap hotel with a bed and shower. We didn't have any problems. Slept fine, everything was clean (bathroom fan was very loud - like a turbine engine, but not a big deal).. Cheapest place on the island we could find (I think we paid 130 a night). Location was great (but then again, the key is really small - not really any bad locations!). Would definitely stay here again if visiting key west.

By the way, we booked on the hotel's website directly, which was thirty dollars cheaper than any of the hotel websites we looked at. As long as you don't mind that it's non-refundable, you might want to check out their website before you book.

Around Midnight, a rooster started crowing....then his buddy joined in for about 10 mnutes. Every 20 mins....just as we were getting back to sleep, they would start again.

When we complained to the manager, we were told that it is "part of the culture" and they can't do anything about it. Locals that we spoke with said they had heard that rumor but rarely ever heard any roosters.

If you are used to a farm yard...this is the place for you. If not, find somewhere else if you want to sleep.
