My cousin and I stayed in The Cat Room for 8 days and we found it cozy and comfortable. There was air conditioning, a small microwave, a small fridge, dishes, very comfortable bed and our own little patio set.
The staff, including the housekeeping staff, were friendly and kind. Paula gave us some tips on activities to look into during our stay and even helped us find our way around Key West!!
I found the room to be clean and there was enough space to accommodate both my cousin and I.
The owner of the convenience store next door allowed us to park our car in one of his customer spots every day! Such kindness!
The location can't be beat! Walk around the corner and you're right on Duval Street where all the action is!
We even had our own little Ghecko who we could always find waiting on the walkway to greet us when we came back to the room!
The rate for the room was very reasonable and, even on our limited budget, we got very good value for our money!
All in all, we had an immensely enjoyable stay and would stay with Olivia By Duval again in a heartbeat if we could ever afford to return to Key West!!
The place gets a two thumbs up from us!!

My husband and I are long time Key West Lover's and decided to take a 3 night trip. We waited until about 2 weeks before our trip, so our favorites the Wicker Guesthouse and the Southernmost Guest House were booked. (we went over St. Pats Day/Spring Break) We arrived to the guest house and found out that the office is in another location. So back in the car and to another property/office. Once we finally checked in and drove back the guesthouse we let ourselves into this tiny hallway w/ 3 rooms.

Ours was in the back, What a dump! Old nasty blue indoor/outdoor carpeting, shabby metal blinds, a 10" tv in the corner, sheets were too small for the bed, and the bathroom was gross! Moldy tile and knobs, 1 ply t.p., no tissues, and an open shampoo bottle. We could hear everything from the 3 rooms surronding us, the pool was freezing cold and the sundeck was covered in leaves and debris. The stinky trash from the hotel and the convience store next door was at our front door. and the parking was hit or miss. We are not "luxury" people, but a clean room/bathroom is a must. The Wicker and Southermost give you so much more for the $$

Everything was great! We appreciated the service, hospitality and anmenties offered at Olivia by Duval! We look forward to coming back next year! It is located so close to Duval Street, with a great porch for sightseeing!

We stayed in Cat Room at Olivia By Duval a week before Christmas. The room in itself was OK (very compact) and we felt the bathroom needed a renovation.

Parking is an issue if you stay near Duval but we were lucky to get a spot right opposite the guest house. I would prefer to stay at their main location (way much better than Olivia by Duval) and the rate difference is not that high.

People were very nice (Kay & Jessica) and helped us with some nice places to eat/see and also with coupons for water sports/bars etc. Overall a good experience; would like a better deal on rate and the room next time though.
