“Good Place for business traveller with business near airport”

This Springhill Suites was on par with all the others I have stayed in. I had a 7th floor room overlooking the lake and back toward Coral Gables. I could see the tower of the Biltmore Hotel.

The staff was friendly the room was clean. The free breakfast standard fare of simple hold and cold items. The market place had good snacks and drinks at reasonable prices

I had a car so getting about was not a problem. I did see the courtesy van at a Walgreens near by.

No "fine" dining close by but plenty of fast food. Doral area not too terribly far away but you definitley need a car to go out there and the traffic is a Miami nightmare.

I was travelling alone and on business so I really was not requiring much.

“We Were Very Pleased”

We stayed here the night before a cruise. It was ideal for us. There would have been a free shuttle from the airport but our plane was 4 1/2 hours delayed and the shuttle stopped running at 11 PM. However, we were very pleased with the shuttle that took us to the cruise port the next day - easily arranged and inexpensive (can't remember how much now).

We didn't get to sample much of the hotel's offerings because we got in so late and had to leave in the morning, but the room was lovely and comfortable. It had a full kitchen. And the breakfast was really good - it was way more than a continental breakfast.

I stayed on business. I found the hotel to be clean and the room comfortable. Free internet and continental breakfast. The hotel is in a industrial area very clean and quiet.

It was very close to airport and easy to get to. Also. not a bad ride to SouthBeach maybe 10/15 minutes.

Its not a resort but a good place to sleep, felt safe at all times..

“Front desk staff needs training”

Hotel itself is a typical SpringHill, but front desk staff needs work,
slow check-in, got to room opened door and some guys inside starts yelling, they had already rented room. Have not had this happen since the 80's at a Howard Johnson. Front desk didn't seem to fazed by it though, wonder how much it happens there.
