LOVED this hotel. We stayed on New Years Eve. Prime location for downtown Indy. Right in the middle of bars, restaurants, Conseco Fieldhouse, a couple blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium.

It's very nice and cozy. Wonderful decor and huge spacious rooms! Prepare to wait for your car the next morning if staying during a holiday. Only have a few valet runners. We waited around 45 mins. for our car...but it was New Years Day.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Homewood in Downtown Indy. The hotel has a great feel from the moment you walk in the door. It is comfortable and has all updated amenities.

We were pleasantly surprised at the decor and how much space there was in each room. There is a large couch, table and chairs and a flat screen television in the living room/kitchen area. There is a second television in the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect! We were surrounded by food, shopping and nightlife, not to mention within walking distance of the Dome. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good. It varied slightly from day to day.

Valet was a little off at times, and it is costly at $22 per day, but it is worth it if for ease.

Would I go back - absolutely! I have already made my reservations!

Loved this hotel. Booked it online after seeing it ranked #1 on this site. We were visiting Indy for the first time ever to see the Colts get robbed by the Patriots. First of all, Indy was a surprisingly beautiful and clean city. Well organized, we loved the town.

On to the hotel, the rooms are very modern and stylish. My wife wouldn't let me settle in because she was taking photos for the first 5 minutes of how cool it was. The rooms are laid out very well. The location is perfect, lots of bars, restaurants, and a comedy club all within hundreds of feet of the place. We heard no road or rowdy noises but we were on the back of the hotel. Breakfast was nice, it's all free and it's usually scrambled eggs,bacon, cereal, fruits, plus one of those waffle maker machines. Overall pretty good.

Only two complaints-
1. Elevators are the slowest known to mankind. Amazingly slow. We stopped taking them and used the stairs.
2. Shower temp was barely tolerable, talking just warm enough to shower but not a comfortable experience. I should have complained but didn't. It probably was fixable but I guess I'm a wimp.

first off--the good: the rooms are enormous and nicely furnished and
the location is very convenient. it's walking distance from many of the downtown restaurants, just down the block from a mall w/a nordstrom's and carson pirie scott, and an easy drive to the zoo. we used the valet parking and it was great--well worth the $22. the $15 that the hotel charges for parking w/no in and out privileges is the same as what you'll pay at the surrounding garages and lots. breakfast was well-stocked and not crowded. and there was free internet in the room.

however, it can be quite noisy esp if you get a street side room. we were on the 2nd floor, right on meridian and both fri and sat night the noise of bikers, revving car engines, thumping music, etc. lasted
well past midnight. also, one of our main reasons for getting a suite
is to be able to stay up after we put the baby to bed. however, there
is no door in these suites between the living area and the sleeping area. the 2 are separated by a bathroom/closet area so you could sit quietly on the couch and read w/a dim light w/out too much light filtering back to the bed area, but still--it's essentially one big room (the rooms are laid out in a straight line, living rm/bath/sleep
area).

otherwise, the decor was quite nice and everything else was in excellent condition.
