I can't disagree with the other reviewers - there's nothing overwhelmingly great about this place, but I will say it is the one restaurant I insist on visiting every time we come to North Lake Tahoe (once or twice year). It is a generic mexican restaurant, but I think it's better than the chain restaurants, and for one of the top towns in all of the US, where things can get quite expensive, this place is very inexpensive. Your typical 2-item combo still goes for around $9, and the local tourist magazine almost always carries a coupon for a free margarita with every purchase. The chips and salsa are great, as are most of the entrees. It is great comfort food and one of the best deals on the lake.
