To be succinct (because the place doesn't really warrant anything else) the place is OK, but well off the strip and, as others have written, in an industrial area of Vegas. The Blue Moon is laid out in the same mode as it was when a Travelodge, and with that, is not worth the price. The continental breakfasts are nothing special, and in fact, sometimes non existant. One day, there was not a drop of coffee, nor orange juice, nor milk. The muffins and other pastries are kept in large glass jars with lids, and they are there until they are gone... regardless of how long they are in the jars. Jelly packages are there, but they are so old, it's like dried rubber cement. But... not a big deal, I guess. You don't come here to eat.
The rooms are clean enough, the staff is friendly enough, and the amenities (video room/steam room/spa/pool) are adequate. Nothing to write home about... but then again, not many men write home about visiting a "gay resort." Having said that, the place really isn't much of a resort. Just a gay motel. I've been here... done it... no need to return. Not memorable at all. May as well stay at a Travelodge.
