Stipsteak is overall a very good restaurant and we recommend it.
Food:
We began our meal with the oysters which were delciious.
Our entrees included the Filet Mignon (American Midwest) and the Salmon. They were cooked to order and the mesquite flavor was very present. Being from Houston, we are use to mesquite wood being used to cook our BBQ and appreciated the wood-grill here at Stripsteak.
Sides were very good, especially the potatoes with goat cheese, delicious.
Service:
No issues really. Average for this class of restaurant.
Overall we enjoyed the experience, appreciated the decor and style of the restaurant, but probably wouldn't rush back to dine here again. And to be 100% honest, the filet mignon at Stripsteak ($52) was about a 7 to 8 out of 10 when compared to a Ruth's Chris filet ($40) that rates about a 9 out of 10 in my book.
