The "non smoking" room smelled of smoke, the bedspread was DIRTY, STAINED and had burn holes in it. We had to stay "across the street" which had no access to a pool or hot tub. The buffet selection was "limited". The noise of the "child" running back and forth above us was obnoxious. The hotel clerk should look for a job she enjoys because she obviously doesn't enjoy her job. I requested a balcony - and then was told only suites have balconie ( I was not told this when I made my reservation over the phone). There was no refridgerator, microwave in the room. Even tho the websites SAYS they have refridgerators in the room. The miniture golf course was worn out, water fountains not working - yet was there a discount on the price? NO. Carpeting is worn out - elevator is slow. My boyfriend was charged $99.99 a night - WORST place I have ever stayed and we won't be back.

Our room was spacious but very "worn" I'd guess it was at least two seasons past the time to remodel stage.

The room was reasonably priced, but the motel style entries guaranteed a noisy Friday night.

The hotel location was a giant parking lot, with three large double-decker motel style buildings.

The hotel staff was nice, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Yuck. I was in need of a hotel between Las Vegas and St. George and the Oasis was my choice to stop for one quick night on a business trip. The Oasis rates were cheaper than their sister hotel the Casablanca across the street. "You get what you pay for" still applies. For $29.99 you do get a free grand slam breakfast at the resort Denny's (funny it's called a resort), also for $29.99 you get a room that opens to the exterior walkway, no interior corridors here, so plenty of people wander by your hotel all night (after all it's a casino hotel). Hospital room style paper thin sheets on the beds, questionable marks on the walls and the shower makes you want to go without. In their defense, I didn't do too much research on the hotels and had never stayed in Mesquite before, so I would have gladly paid the extra $40.00 for the rooms at Casablanca across the street. The Casablanca has a sports book, better fine dining restaurant and seems to be clean.

Just returned from a golf outing in Mesquite. We stayed at the Oasis Hotel and Casino. Unfortunately the only good thing about the Oasis is its 2 golf courses...
The Hotel rooms were dingy, they had no hangers for use, pool looked like it needed to be cleaned...and the list goes on. Will not stay at this little gem again.

“Hotel rate dishonesty”

Oasis Resort, Casino Golf and Spa

We arrived at this hotel via auto transportation on Thursday, 3/27/08 after passing through Las Vegas and noticing signs all over Highway 15 advertising rooms in the twenty dollar range. When we arrived and went to the desk, we were told that all of the rooms in this price range were booked but then we were offered a room for 79.95 by the hotel clerk. After turning this offer down, I immediately proceeded to the entrance lobby and used a pay phone to call 1-877-GETAWAY that is advertised on the billboards along the highway. The same desk clerk answers and I asked him the same question about the availability of the $20 dollar range rooms, this time he said the the rooms were all sold out except he could offer me a room for $99.95 (a $20 increase).

This hotel is not honest about their rates or room availability and the only reason we didn't book a room in advance this year was because in July 2007 when we there, one of the pools was closed by the health department, all spas were not working, and only two pools were open with one of them being filthy and over-run by kids. In 2007 when we last stayed there, the health spa that charges $10 extra for adults to use the spa behind building 3 does not maintain their pool grounds or pool very well and all of the skimmers were plugged with debris causing junk to float all over the pool. Naturally we wanted to check this out in person before committing to another bad situation but we couldn't get any honesty from the front desk either.
