We checked into our "suite" first of all we were told it was indoor corridors. Well it was outdoor and the door faced the Slums of reno. Looking down over the belcony was a blood splatter on the alley below us. The rooms smelled very badly. I dont know where they came up with the pictures for the website, but they must have been taken when the place was brand new. We didnt end up staying there. We checked out as fast as we checked in.

Have stayed there twice since change over the staff is friendly and room is clean. Not worth the cost of over $400/yr. The newest thing is their Marketing dept. has sold my phone number to solicitors so I am flooded with calls leaving messages asking me if I want to rent or sell my timeshare. Last week I had 3 in one day and One the next day when I was home. The one I answered I told to never call my house again. I own several timeshares any have never had any of them sell my home number to Marketing Companies.
One wanted to come to my house for a home visit???

This is all very low class and bothersome to say the least. I am going to call and try to stop these calls. I bet it won't do any good.

Bad News Celebrity

We visit Reno 4 or 5 times a year, and always stay at the Celebrity Resort. Yes, it's gone through several name changes, but the rooms keep getting better. We don't own a timeshare w/ them, we just rent a room. The suites (and I think all of the rooms are suites) have a kitchen, dining and living room area, plus the bedroom(s) and bathroom. The rooms are nicely decorated, and always clean. The bathrooms are a bit small, but the shower and toilet are usually separated from the sink area. The location is great - walking distance from the "strip" in Reno, right on the river, and near Peg's, a great breakfast place. The staff is always pleasant and treat us like returning friends. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Reno.
