The B Street House truly defines the bed and breakfast experience. When you walk into the house, you feel as though you have walked back in time to the beautiful antique charm that defines the 1800's time period. Upon arrival I was greeted by both innkeepers and wonderful smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The house is furnished with period antiques including a reproduction of the original wallpaper in the parlour. The rooms are decorated appropriately and the beds are very comfortable with down comforters and fluffy pillows. The bath held a variety of tolietries and soft plushy towels. Coffee is served in the parlour early so you have time to enjoy it with freshly baked muffins and scones (not to mention sparkling juice) before breakfast. Having stayed two nights I sampled everything from the scones with perserves and homemade lemon curd to poached pears with honey and cream, maple sausage, creme brulle, stuffed french toast, herbed scrambled eggs and egg nests. Truly you dont walk away hungery. The hosts were very gracious also. They will make reservations to any event or restaurant in town to offer their guests added convenience.
I believe that walking away with wonderful memories is well worth the price of the stay.
